What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money— That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not!
To parents everywhere, a child’s first and most important teachers, and to all those who educate, influence, and lead by example
So many people say,

interested in money."
Yet they’ll work
at a job for

Introduction
Hello readers,
Thank you for purchasing my book! I'm thrilled that you're interested in understanding money and financial literacy. Let me share a bit about my journey with you.
When I was a child, specifically during my school years, I loved conducting experiments in real life rather than memorizing theories from textbooks. However, this passion often led to poor academic performance; I frequently failed to complete my notes, homework, and school assignments. Despite this, my fascination with certain subjects drove me to make things like drones and other projects.
One pivotal moment in my life came when I was around 8 or 9 years old. I stumbled upon a book in my school library titled Rich Dad Poor Dad.
As a child, I didn't fully grasp its concepts, but I found it intriguing. Curious about the book's ideas, I asked my teachers for explanations. Instead of support, they chastised me for neglecting my schoolwork and called my parents, suggesting that I wasn't fit for traditional education and should transfer to another school.
That night, feeling dejected, I sat alone on the terrace, reflecting on my situation. In those days, without mobile phones or digital devices, I found solace in Rich Dad Poor Dad,
which I had tucked away in my bag. The book's message resonated with me deeply, particularly its critique of the traditional education system's failure to teach practical financial skills.
The following day, my mother made an impassioned please to the principal to allow me to stay in school. Inspired by the book, I boldly asked the principal, What is money?
This question marked the beginning of my journey into understanding and mastering financial literacy.
I hope my experiences and the insights I've gained over the years will inspire and empower you on your own financial journey. Welcome to the adventure of learning about money!
Next, when I asked the same question—What is money?
—to my principal, he was shocked. His reaction changed dramatically, and I could sense his discomfort. I didn't stop there. I posed the same question to my class teacher and added, Will your subject teach me how to make money?
This question left them stunned and insecure, and they punished me by making me stay outside the classroom for a week.
During that week, I happily read Rich Dad Poor Dad
outside, much to the annoyance of my classmates and teachers. Seeing my enthusiasm for the book, my teachers became even more frustrated. They called my parents again, complaining that I was reading inappropriate
material and asking disruptive questions. They confiscated my book and banned me from the library, piling on more schoolwork and insisting I memorize it all. But I hated rote learning. I agreed to their demands on one condition: they had to answer my question first.
Their response was infuriating. They told me, Money is God. If you study well and get good marks, money will come to you. Good grades equal money. Getting a high rank will bring you more money.
Believing them, I joined the rat race, memorizing everything, working hard, and attending tuition's to get high marks. I managed to get good grades, but this approach led me into a race that wasn’t fulfilling.
I didn't fully read Rich Dad Poor Dad
again until seven years later. By then, I had completed my 10th grade and chose accounting as my profession, pursuing a Chartered Accountant (CA) course. Through my studies and personal experiences, I finally understood the real meaning of money and how it works.
Now, I want to share these hard truths with you: our schools and colleges train us to be employees, not problem solvers or entrepreneurs. You might argue that school provides a good foundation, but if your goal is to make money, you need financial education or literacy—not just a degree or good grades. No school or college in the world teaches this critical skill. Only self-help books like Rich Dad Poor Dad
can guide you in this area.
So, how can you get financial education? It’s simple: read this book, apply its principles in the real world, and follow my journey. I’m working on new books that delve deeper into financial literacy, which are meant for anyone—children and adults alike—who wants to understand money. Let’s start this journey together!
Rich people acquire assets. The
