    A beautiful woman of mystery

A beautiful woman, she is of mystery.

Her life is gone fighting her adversary.

In the dark water, she takes her bath.

Not rosy, full of thorns is her path.

    A budding love

A budding love with lots of fresh roses.

    It lingers on and energizes.

I celebrate writing poetry and prose.

She is not in a hospital bed.

    But she is deeply sad.

Doesn't want to talk to anyone.

She has the purity of a swan.

Her heart hangs in the balance.

As if she has been given a prison sentence.

The family violence and abuse she had to go through.

She hides from the brutality of the storm about to brew.

Her ordeal has been heard by no one.

She needs a little help from everyone.

    A life’s journey

A pathway of books ascending to
