      Why should we publish this book?

      Why should you make the effort to read every page?

      It may be the truth. You decide thoughtfully and honestly. If it is, it should change your life. You will have a divine perspective rather than a human perspective.

      If it's the truth, it has extraordinary gifts for you, as the title says, especially for you.

      If it's the truth, then you will understand much more what's real. For example, this puzzle by Luis Campos. He writes it as this: Avrna hio, stxiu fjrnx iuo fxtw jafxvn, but then he tells us what each of those letters really mean: Trust God, clean house, and help others.¹ That's exactly what this book proposes: Love God above all else, put your life in order, and love your neighbor as yourself.

      You can see the real meaning in signs, and you can live a blessed life. It would be real life. You can see more clearly.

      If it's the truth, then all of us must make some major choices. We must choose between Golgotha or January 6, 2021, Christ or Trumpism, love or hatred, harsh truth or lies, a blessed life in the be-attitudes or temporal wealth, democracy or autocracy.

      If it's the truth, then we must reread certain parts of Scripture. For all of us, Matthew 25:31–46 is of extreme importance. It's everything in our existence here on earth because Christ explains how he will decide our eternal existence based on our choices in this life.

      If it's the truth, then our country has an infection that's killing it, and we must persist in our faith in Christ. Reread Matthew 15:21–28, about the Canaanite woman of faith, to understand what we must do when Christ doesn't seem to be listening to our prayers. The disciples were urging Christ to pay her no mind. They didn't want to be bothered, the infection of me-me-meism. They didn't want Christ to listen to her because they believed Christ was the Messiah only for the Jews, and she wasn't a Jew, the infection of tribalism. But her faith overcame the infections, and Christ answered her prayers. Christ triumphs over infection leading to death.

      If it's the truth, then we are joining with other Christian leaders who believe that Trumpism is the opposite of Christianity, its antithesis. To cite just a few:

      2016, December—The Christian Post. The headline: Donald Trump Is a Scam Evangelical.

      The message: As the most populous Evangelical news website in the United States and the world, we feel compelled by our moral responsibility to make clear that Donald Trump does not represent the interests of Evangelicals and would be a dangerous leader for our country.²

      2018—The Reverend Dr. Bishop William J. Barber. The headline: In Rural Georgia, the Reverend Barber Excoriates Trump and His Supporters for Using Pseudo Christianity to Support Racism.³

      2020—Anglican bishop Maryann Budde from St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington DC stated very emphatically after Trump had forcefully interrupted a peaceful demonstration for George Floyd for his own photo op that she was outraged and what Trump had done was antithetical to what Christ proclaimed.⁴

      2021—Baptist theologian and leader Russell Moore, after the January 6 insurrection, proclaimed very clearly that what Trump did was indefensible.⁵ He continues to show that Christians cannot be for both Christ and Trump.

      2022—Amanda Tyler, the head of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, testified under oath to a government oversight committee why Christian Nationalism supported by Trump is not truly Christian. Her testimony was clear and effective in showing the difference.⁶

      This is only a partial listing of Christian leaders proclaiming why Christians cannot allow Trump to ever regain political power again.

      Preamble

      I'm very serious. I mean it when I say, Especially for you. If you are holding this book in your hands right now, then I mean exactly that. I'm honest and sincere. I want you, in particular, as a separate human being, to have certain gifts that have been designated just for you. That is real. That is true. I get excited when I think of your receiving them. They are truly for your benefit.

      What's the cost to you? It's reading through every page to the very last. It's making the effort to understand what I'll be trying to say on every page. It's being honest with yourself on every page. It's seeing your true worth. It's living a blessed life. That's a pretty good deal!

      What's in it for me? I'll be happy like you can't imagine. Read the entire book, and you will see the truth in that emotion, that feeling for you to get certain gifts.
