The Very Tired Tiger

In the jungle where moonbeams glow, lived a very tired tiger with eyes all aglow

Feeling heavy with the weight of the day, he yearned for a place where dreams would stay

The trees whispered secrets in the quiet night, as the tiger's yawns echoed, a sleepy delight

With a stretch and a purr, he rose from his lair, in search of a spot where slumber would appear

Through moonlit meadows and silvered streams, he tiptoed in silence following dreamy dreams

His stripes shimmered like shadows, a gentle dance, as he sought the haven of a perfect trance

On mossy rocks and beneath tall ferns, he tried to nestle but tossed and turned

A bed of soft petals he tried to employ, but still the tiger yearned for a slumbering joy

Through the moonlit glade he ventured along, his paws padding softly, a rhythmic song

A babbling brook whispered tales of sleep, as the tiger's journey took a turn so deep
