    The Purpose of This Book:

Is meant to empower you so that you will empower others and others will continue to empower others so sin will be powerless. This way, souls will be won for discipleship and disciple-makers to continue to empower a world that needs God’s Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven.

    The Passion in This Book:

Is to educate and provide biblical solutions so the body of Christ (The Call-Out Assembly, the congregation, the Ekklēsia) will be doers of the word by effective WITNESSING. The devil is using new types of wicked strategies that await to misinform the body of Christ, his goal is to deceive the very elect, the unsaved, and betray with many false fantasies. This manual is designed to shut the mouth of the foolish compassionately so healthy church growth can be aligned spiritually.

    The Power of This Book:

God’s word is called to empower the righteous in Christ to GO face-to-face in a more excellent way that globally transforms those who are being or about to be misled by false religions.

This framework covers many topics linking a person to salvation, rededication, heaven, forgiveness, repentance, church, and other subjects that stimulate biblical guidance for Christians to witness, win souls, disciple, and grow in Christ. The soul-winning templates will help you become confident and competent in handling subjects that produce unbelievers and believers to grow in Christ.

1 Peter 315 (KJV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

Congratulations, on upsetting the kingdom of darkness!

77080.png UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF SALVATION

    001_a_img.png

The purpose of the first chapter is to engage your students in understanding the complete meaning and significance of the power of salvation by using scriptures and wisdom. This knowledge can now be shared through face-to-face interactions, or any other means necessary for evangelizing and discipleship.

Salvation is the deliverance from the power of sin. It rescues a person from the consequences of wickedness and the grips of iniquity. This restoration plan also delivers one from the torment of the wrath of God. Salvation is a gift of redemption by the mighty power of God. One who is saved escapes damnation and is rescued and delivered from sin by the one and only Savior of humankind, Jesus Christ, who opposes the power of sinful nature and is the opposite of the adversary, the devil. Faith Works Centre defines salvation as deliverance from all molestation from the enemy. I also like the way Nelson’s Illustrated Bible Dictionary depicts salvation in many biblical definitions below.

This doctrine of salvation reaches its fulfillment in the death of Christ on our behalf. Jesus’s assignment was to seek and save those who would believe in His purpose, His passion, and His power of salvation. The preaching of the gospel of Christ is the method of salvation brought to those who are not saved. Jews or Gentiles can receive this by power through preaching, evangelism, reading the Bible, and other means of the good news of Christ and the purpose of His death, burial, and resurrection. This gospel does not discriminate like other false religions and cults.

When I personally surrendered my life to Christ, I simply submitted to God’s will of arresting me, taking my life, and recreating it into His divine plan of action. After eighteen years of foolishness in a modern-day, backslid condition, I tried to get myself together so many times but failed over and over. Finally, a miracle took place, and I was delivered from drugs, alcohol, pills, three packs of cigarettes a day, cocaine, homelessness, and crack cocaine, which took me to rock bottom. I had no need for AA, NA, self-help, or rehabilitation—only God’s redemptive power, which took place in a one-second miracle. I soon asked God why I couldn’t get myself together. He replied, I sent My Son to save the world, not you. I then realized you cannot save yourself; only Jesus saves.

Our job is to articulate to the world the purpose, the passion, and the power of the good news of Jesus regarding God’s salvation process and the benefits of Jesus saving us from ourselves and the wrath of God. It’s amazing how one puff of a cigarette can cause addiction that will lead you to death by cancer. One sip of wine, social drinking in your home or a club can soon turn you toward alcoholism. Being cool can kill you by playing Russian roulette with drugs. Heroin, narcotics, cocaine, and crack can make your bank account, car, and home do a disappearing act. Sin even knows how to make your children disown you. But this same saving power of God can restore, cleanse, redeem, and keep you from Satan’s devices.

Salvation is a process of potentially removing sinful nature from a person’s life by personal obedience, a miracle from God, or however He chooses. For example, I used to cuss like a sailor. I thought it was going to be difficult for God to rid me of this because I communicated this way in the hood and at my job. One day when I was listening to God, He explained that I used cuss words about one thousand times a day. I knew this was going to be a problem, yet He rescued me again. He said, Let’s reduce that to nine hundred, and I did, and then to eight hundred and so on. Years later, using God’s strategy, I stopped cussing completely out of my mouth. Jesus said, Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man (Matthew 15:11).

One reason why angels rejoice and a Christian may cry when a person gets saved is that the miracles, or the process of salvation, begins and there is hope even for the hopeless. The supremacy of a salvation process may never be 100 percent complete on earth, but miracles of being a new creature in Christ can materialize in a powerful split second.

31361.png When a Person Believes in Christ, He or She Is Saved

Acts 16:30–31 (KJV): And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.’

Ephesians 1:13–14 (KJV): In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

John 6:27 (KJV): Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

31417.png But We Are Also in the Process of Being Saved from the Power of Sin

Titus 2:11–12 (KJV): For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Philippians 2:12b (KJV): Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Colossians 3:5–10 (NKJV): Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.

Ephesians 4:17–22 (KJV): This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

31445.png Finally, We Shall Be Saved from the Very Presence of Sin

Titus 2:11–13 (KJV): "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."

John 14:2–6 (KJV): Jesus said: ‘In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.’ Thomas saith unto him, ‘Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?’ Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’"

1 Corinthians 15:54–56 (KJV): So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Hebrew 9:28 (KJV): So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 Peter 1:5 (KJV): Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:9 (KJV): Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.

Revelation 12:10 (KJV): And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.’

Philippians 3:20 (KJV): For our conversation is in Heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

    76994.png

Romans 6:1–6 (KJV): What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

God Allows Us a Foretaste and Insights of Our Future Lives As His Children

2 Corinthians 1:22 (KJV): Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Our Experience of Salvation Will Be Complete When Christ Returns

Hebrew 9:28 (KJV): So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

    76979.png

John 1:12 (NKJV): But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

John 3:15–18 (KJV): That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3: 36 (KJV): He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV): The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 10:13 (KJV): For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 Timothy 4:10–16 (KJV): For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

    76954.png

Acts 4:12 (KJV): Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Timothy 2:5 (KJV): For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

John 14:6 (KJV): Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’

Matthew 7:13–14 (KJV): Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

1 John 5:12–13 (KJV): He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

John 11:25–27 (KJV): Jesus said unto her, ‘I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?’ She saith unto him, ‘Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.’

1 John 5:11–12 (KJV): And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

2 Timothy 2:10 (KJV): Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

John 6:35 (KJV): And Jesus said unto them, ‘I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.’

John 3:36 (KJV): He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

    76934.png

John 10:14–18 (KJV): I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

1 John 3:16 (KJV): Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

John 15:13 (KJV): Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

    76905.png

Matthew 2:36 (KJV): But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of Heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 13:41–43 (KJV): The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

    76888.png

Acts 16:30–31 (KJV): And brought them out, and said, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.’

Romans 10:13 (KJV): For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 3:1–7 (KJV): There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, ‘Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Verily, verily,’ I say unto thee, ‘Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ Nicodemus saith unto him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?’ Jesus answered, ‘Verily, verily,’ I say unto thee, ‘Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

    Hearing the Gospel

Roman 10:13–14 (KJV): For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

John 4:39–42 (KJV): And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, ‘Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.’

Realizing That You Are a Sinner

Romans 3:10 (KJV): As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’

Romans 3:23 (KJV): For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

1 John 1:8–10 (KJV): If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Romans 5:17–18 (KJV): For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Romans 6:23 (KJV): For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

James 1:14–16 (KJV): But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Realize Jesus Is the Only Remedy for Sin Nature

Romans 6:23 (KJV): For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

James 1:14–16 (KJV): But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Hebrew 9:22 (KJV): Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Acts 4:12 (KJV): Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Peter 3:18 (KJV): For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.

    Believe in Jesus

Mark 1:15 (KJV): And saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’

John 8:24 (KJV): I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 6:29 (KJV): Jesus answered and said unto them, ‘This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.’

John 6:69 (KJV): And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

John 12:47–48 (KJV): And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and received not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

John 14:1, 11 (KJV): Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

John 7:3738 (AMPC): Jesus stood and called out [in a loud voice], ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.

    Repent of Your Sins

Acts 17:30 (KJV): And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.

Luke 13:3–5 (KJV): I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Mark 1:15 (KJV): And saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’

2 Corinthians 7:10–11 (KJV): For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things, ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Matthew 4:17 (KJV): From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, ‘Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’

Repentance is a sincere apology to God; to do a complete turnaround against wickedness, sinful behavior, and ungodly or ill-mannered habits that consist of wrongful exploits of God’s commands. Repentance is regretting and being remorseful by confessing these faults to Jesus as Savior in an attempt to never, to the very best of your ability, repeat these hostile acts toward God. This is an action to stop ungodly activities and events so one can turn away from sin and be revived. You do a spiritual, militant about-face from corrupt habits and force yourself not to be involved in wicked activities. This is an action to stop giving Satan, friends, customs, rituals, yourself, or others permission to ruin your life with disobedience and sinful pleasure, which can destroy your life or good works. Without repentance, you may demolish your kingdom works or even terminate your calling to be effective to others.

Repentance is firing the devil because he is interfering with your spiritual relationship. It’s a rebuke of ungodly acts, to be apologetic to God for being under the influence of sinful behavior—a rotating away from sin and a revolving into the ways of biblical teachings. This potentially removes you from the temptation of going in the opposite direction of godliness. You allow Jesus to break you free from a system of ill-mannered behavior without returning to it. This puts you in a position to prevent ungodly commands from ruling your flesh, to come out of sin and into your senses of righteousness, and to return to participating in God’s clarion call for your life.

Repentance is to stop acting like an out-of-control child and become mature in your spiritual growth. Repentance softens your stony heart to advance the kingdom of God, to take the perpetration out of spiritual immaturity, to do the opposite of wrongdoings, to express a heartfelt regret or sorrow about one’s transgressions or sins, to change a course of ill-mannered additions toward respect, and to honor God’s divine instructions. If repentance is despised, it disrespects God and harms other generations. If repentance is not despised, God’s power will flow in you, and others can be a part of His chosen generation also. Repentance takes humility, a broken spirit, and a contrite heart to dissolve the contamination of sin so that we do not give it permission to rule over us and others anymore.

    Repent

In the Old Testament, two Hebrew words help us understand repentance. The first is the word nacham (pronounced tshuva or teshuva), which means to turn around or to change your mind. The second is sub. It is used over six hundred times in the Old Testament and is translated as turn, return, seek, and restore. You see it often in phrases like to turn to the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5–6).

When it comes to the New Testament, there is one word, the Greek word metanoia, which means to change the mind or a wicked heart and do a reorientation. It refers to changing the ways you think sinfully or the ways you do sinful things, walking away from sin because your relationship with the Godhead is more important to your treasures in Heaven. Repentance is changing your mindset from unrighteousness to righteousness. Finally, repentance is a word that causes you to take action—to hate what God hates and to love what God loves. I call it making God happy!

    Ways to Repent

    1. Recognize and admit that you have done wrong in the sight of God.

    2. Have heartfelt remorse for wrongdoings. This makes addiction come to an end and allows new life to begin in Christ.

    3. Show God the Father, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit that you are sorrowful for the wrong nature you had and that, from this day forward, you are going to grow in Him like a child and thank Him for allowing you into the new steps of your spiritual walk. God wants to be with you every step of the way.

    4. Ask God to forgive you for disrespecting His will, to create in you a clean heart, and to renew the right spirit in you. God will cast your sins as far as the east is from the west.

    5. Find spiritual leaders (spiritual big brothers or sisters) who know the word of God and confess your faults to them. This is more like a testimony of what you did wrong and how happy you are about replacing the old you with a new you in Christ Jesus. These saints can be your accountability partners.

    6. Stop it; quit it. For example, quit smoking, quit lying, quit cheating, quit lusting, quit gossiping—the list goes on and on. Examine yourself in God’s eyes and find things about yourself that God wants to change. Do this before He chastens you.

    7. Be devoted to God to the best of your ability and never repeat the act of lawlessness despite the temptations, addictions, advantages, profits, or situations that can kill you.

    8. If possible, return to those who you have hurt. Tell them how you are under new construction and have given your life, or returned, to Christ. Apologize by asking them to forgive you; ask them to be your cheerleader and check on you. If possible, return what you have stolen or leave a gift, like a Bible explaining that the kingdom of Heaven has come to you and you hope it comes to them as well so Heaven will be their home.

    9. Enjoy the responsibility of doing things God’s way. The benefits are awesome!

    10. Be vigilant because the devil wants you back. Be on the lookout for scheming ways Satan will try to get you trapped again.

    11. Make a checklist of things that you need to change in your life and check them off.

    12. Make a checklist of how you are going to serve God at your local church and society.

Romans 10:9–11 (KJV): That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, ‘Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.’

Acts 16:31 (KJV): And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.’

1 John 4:15 (KJV): Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Matthew 10:32–33 (KJV): Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven.

Romans 14:11 (KJV): For it is written, ‘As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.’

Philippians 2:11 (KJV): And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1 John 4:15 (KJV): Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Revelation 3:5 (KJV): He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Romans 6:23 (KJV): For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8–11 (KJV): But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

For those who are new to leading people to Christ,

you can keep it simple by using the ABCs of Salvation!

See Chapter 22: The Salvation Prayer.

HERE IS A WARNING: Please review everything when asking potential new believers to repeat the Salvation Prayer after you. There’s nothing worse than leaving a key element out of the prayer and there is no true confession of Christ.

Keep the confessions heartfelt and not too short.

What Is My Favorite Sinners Prayer?

Dear God, creator of Heaven and earth,

(You are getting God’s direct attention by identifying Him correctly.)

When I die, I want to go to Heaven.

As I live on this earth, I want Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior. (Get to the point.)

I am a sinner, and I don’t want to be a sinner anymore. (Identify who you are.)

I want to be saved. (This must be a desire of your heart, not a lie.)

I’m sorry for all the wrong I have done, and I repent of my sins. I ask you to forgive me.

I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I believe it all.

I believe in the virgin birth, the miracles, the death, the burial, and the resurrection.

I believe all of it, and I thank You, Jesus, for dying and shedding your blood for my sins.

Jesus, You’ve been knocking on my door for a long time.

Right here, right now, I open my heart and say, "Come into my heart

and be my Lord and Savior." (Allow Jesus to save you and to lord over your life.)

With my mouth and my heart, I confess You, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior.

Devil, you are fired. Jesus, take my life and change it for Your good.

God, fill me with Your purpose, Your passion, and Your power of the Holy Spirit.

Devil, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Devil, do me a favor and tell hell, We ain’t coming.

Now is a great time to pray for them, congratulate them, and encourage them.

Give them additional information, like the brochure, Now That I’m Saved, What Do I Do?

Get their contact information for discipleship.

Invite them to church so they can be empowered by the word of God and great fellowship.

Give them a free Bible or suggest a Bible reading plan, the gospels, for example.

Ask if is there is anything else you can do for them.

Don’t do a disappearing act. Refer them if necessary.

Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV): For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5–7 (KJV): Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Romans 5:6–10 (KJV): For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Isaiah 53:6 (KJV): All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

1 Peter 1:18–19 (KJV): Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Galatians 3:11 (KJV): But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Hebrew 9:22 (KJV): And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Romans 3:20 (KJV): Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 6:23 (KJV): For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There are many false religions, cults, occults, and other groups that force people to work hard for their fabricated salvation or afterlife, and there is still no guarantee they will be saved. They misrepresent the word of God by saying you have to endure until the end by works. Some may say there is no need for a salvation prayer, because it’s unnecessary.

Romans 3:10 (KJV): As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’

Romans 1:18 (KJV): For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV): And to wait for his Son from Heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Romans 6:23 (KJV): For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:12, 21: (KJV): Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned … That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 8:23–24 (KJV): And he said unto them, ‘Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.’"

John 3:17–20 (KJV): For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Romans 5:16, 18 (KJV): And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. … Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV): For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

John 3:3 (KJV): Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Verily, verily,’ I say unto thee, ‘Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’

Ephesians 2:1–10 (KJV): And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved); And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8–11 (KJV): For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands.

John 1:12–13 (KJV): But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1 Peter 2:1–3 (KJV): Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Hebrews 10:22–25 (KJV): Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

1 John 2:6 (KJV): He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

2 Corinthians 6:17–18 (KJV): Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

This format allows a personal touch of the ministry as you reach out to invite new converts to the church building. Always leave the new convert with a free example like this, which explains what just happened in their new walk with Christ so they can become stronger by following the examples given and not influenced by the enemies of this world. These brochures can also be used during an altar call in a church package, placed in the foyer for others to read and share, or used in follow-up, discipleship courses, or the evangelism kits. Print quality color versions for your congregation, witnessing team, guest-connection center, youth ministry, etc.

Here Is a Challenging, Soul-Winning, Great Idea Upgrade!

In sales, after an agent has sold their products to a customer—for example, life insurance to a family—that agent may ask the client to give them ten names and numbers of friends so he or she can share the same savings with potential customers. As an agent of Christ, we should demonstrate this same example with the friends of a new convert. Instead of telling the new believer to share their testimonies of salvation with others alone, a better idea is to go with them and help the new citizens of Heaven express their good news. You can use this same information above to demonstrate the plan of salvation by sharing the many scriptures already printed out for your convenience with the hopes of winning others to Christ. Take the challenge!

When we first think of sin, we always think of sexual misconduct, drunkenness, drug abuse, gambling, murder, hatred, witchcraft, and the list goes on and on. The real definition of sin is simply disobedience, rebellion, transgression, deviation, uprising, or being in violation of God’s commandments. Simply put, you are misbehaving against God on purpose because you know better. This is lawlessness to divine authority. You are one who breaks the law of God on purpose or one who violates, insults, rebels, transgresses, breaches, deviates, or disobeys God’s authority and well-being for your life and others. The problem is not just sin, it’s you giving ungodliness permission to be activated, better known as misconduct.

The biblical meaning also describes sin as a missing of the mark, wrongdoing, iniquity (evil, wickedness), disobedience (lawless, rebellion), trespass (transgression), corruption, ungodliness (unholy, unjust, unrighteousness), and guilt. All attitudes and actions that result from wrongdoing violate God’s will.

Keep in mind that sin can not only endanger you, but it can also multiply and endanger the well-being of others. Many harmful acts that appear to be fun—financial indulgence or pleasure for a moment—can ruin the life of not only yourself but also others around you, even the existence of generations not born yet.
