About this ebook
Meet Ally and Fran. They have been best friends for a very long time. Forever, in fact. They do everything together! They sing, dance, laugh and play. They are true BFFs!
They especially like writing poetry:
One day at school they wrote a poem,
about the Gobblewop.
He was the strangest creature ever,
that came from Planet Plop.
But just imagine the girls’ surprise when their magical creation comes to life! Join them on the back of the Gobblewop as they whizz through the most thrilling adventure of a lifetime!
Frances Hewitt
Aliya Rashid is a barrister, national legal trainer, and part-time judge. She lives with her husband and two children in the West Midlands. Coming from a large extended family, Aliya spent many fun hours entertaining the young and loved creating plays, songs, and competitions for the family. Aliya is a passionate believer that ‘what you learn through fun, you never forget!’ and what better way to inspire and motivate the young than by hopping onto the back of the Gobblewop! Frances Hewitt is head of languages in a school in the West Midlands. She has always been fascinated by words and once got a Wordle in one! She loves games and quizzes and when not working, enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy cycling, playing board games, singing, and playing with Artie the cat! Frances believes that fun and silliness help keep us young. She has really enjoyed putting together the Gobblewop and hopes that young children will find it a fun caper through a world of imagination.
