Silenced Voices - Chabir Tadeu CT
The heartbeat of Africa
We have an origin, we have our beliefs, cultures, traditions and several other things that identify us. We are Africa, we are Africans, we are Africa.
We love Africa, not only because we were born here, but because it is part of each one of us. Our hearts beat for Africa.
The heartbeat of Africa
The pulse of Africa resonates in our hearts,
Cradle of cultures and history that enchants.
From drums to songs, the soul echoes,
A vibrant continent, full of life and mantle.
––––––––
In every beat of the sacred drums,
Life is celebrated, ancestry is praised.
Dances and rhythms, passed hand in hand,
Such a powerful union, colorful soul.
––––––––
Through the vast fields, the savanna exhales,
The majestic fauna that runs freely.
Lions, elephants, life that spreads,
In every corner, a brave spirit.
––––––––
Africa, pulsating matriarch of the world,
Your children love you with deep fervor.
Your legacy shines, powerful and eternal,
In everyone's hearts, blessed and fraternal.
Boss
Our beautiful Africa caught the attention of its neighbors, not only for its beauty, but also for its wealth. Hence, they came with promises, gifts and lots of affection, but these treats were not out of love, but because they wanted to take advantage of her, her wealth, the things she owned. There were years of conquests, until they got what they wanted... We dominated, yes, the neighbors did and became our bosses, we worked hard for them, just to receive what was rightfully ours.
Boss
I was born
That in the midst of amazement
What a cry
Hunger tastes like stupidity
––––––––
It was also coal
No boss
That stepped on the ground
There are those who swear and swear
––––––––
I was born,
Grow up ,
Believing that happiness,
Once it was emanating from freedom
––––––––
No more
It was a contracture
That gave me height
However, no boss.
Everywhere I
Nobody looks at us, without help and without love. The city's children are leaving, their heads becoming bigger than their bodies can't support. There is practically no meat left in our bodies, just skin
