    Chapter 1: The Nightmare Begins .

    Rohan, a 20-year-old boy, tall and lean with disheveled black hair and piercing blue eyes, lived with his aunt and uncle in a quaint, old Victorian house on the outskirts of Delhi. The house, with its creaky floors and dimly lit hallways, had an eerie charm, a constant reminder of its ancient and mysterious past.

    Every night, Rohan would be haunted by the same nightmare. In his dream, he found himself standing before an ancient, ominous door, surrounded by thousands of gnarled trees. Their roots would writhe and twist, reaching out to ensnare him. The air was thick with a sense of dread, the rustling leaves whispering secrets of a long-forgotten curse. As the roots closed in on him, he would wake up, drenched in sweat, his heart pounding.

    Despite the nightmares, Rohan's life was relatively ordinary. He attended Delhi University, where he studied archaeology, a subject he was passionate about. His daily routine involved long hours at the university library, poring over dusty old books and ancient manuscripts, searching for answers to the mysteries that fascinated him.

    His aunt and uncle were kind but distant, more so since they had taken him in after the mysterious disappearance of his parents years ago. They lived in the old family house, maintaining it meticulously, though it always seemed to be shrouded in an aura of secrets.

    Rohan's room was a small, cluttered space filled with books, maps, and odd trinkets he had collected over the years. A large window overlooked the dense forest that bordered their property, a view that was beautiful during the day but transformed into a dark, foreboding sight at night.
