The Attribute Theft System - Si Si Da Tong

    Chapter 1: Thief God System

At the Yunlan Sect’s menial tasks department, Wang Shitu was carrying water, humming a tune, and enjoying watering the Spirit Field.

A menial worker being this happy had its reasons.

Three days ago, right after Wang Shitu had transmigrated to the Yunlan Sect, he understood the path ahead in his cultivation journey was secured by a golden finger, the moment he heard Ding! The Thief God System is currently binding to the host, progress at 10%. Being a menial disciple was just the beginning.

Over these days, Wang Shitu frequently heard the progress bar of the Thief God System binding process in his ears. Last night, it had reached 85%, leaving only 15% to complete today.

Each time that sound echoed in his ears, Wang Shitu would get excited for a while, followed by a bout of daydreaming. The Thief God System, by the sound of it, seemed destined for him to rob the rich to aid the poor, using the system to specifically steal from overbearing immortals, and become a legendary Thief God.

Knowing the news about the system, Wang Shitu became very optimistic, finding everyone pleasant, even when seeing Steward Li Zhiwei, who usually oppressed him. These past few days, Wang Shitu genuinely smiled upon meeting him.

Yo! Steward Li, you’ve arrived! How do you find my watering? Wang Shitu called out from afar upon seeing Steward Li Zhiwei coming over with two lackeys.

Not bad! Not bad! You’ve been quite diligent these days! Showing improvement! Li Zhiwei, hands behind his back, stepped forward and gave Wang Shitu a pat on the buttocks.

Hehehe! The Steward’s teachings are correct. Wang Shitu didn’t mind and acted as if nothing happened, chuckling foolishly as he watched Li Zhiwei leave.

Steward Li Zhiwei, taking advantage of his position and authority, walked along, occasionally stopping to instruct someone or to give a menial worker a pat on their buttocks, before leaving satisfied. The two lackeys beside him cast admiring glances, followed by a barrage of flattering praises. Although Li Zhiwei was cursing, he found their words pleasing to the ear, and he continued his inspection of the Yunlan Sect’s Spirit Fields in high spirits.

Wang Shitu witnessed all this, and a grudge had long been formed. He thought, once the Thief God System is fully bound, I’ll see how I deal with you.

After sending off Li Zhiwei, Wang Shitu continued to water the Spirit Field as if nothing had happened. After a while, a cold, mechanical voice sounded in Wang Shitu’s ear. Ding, the Thief God System has successfully bound to the host. Now acquiring host data...

    Ding!

    "Host: Wang Shitu

    Cultivation Method: None

    Assets: One Low-Grade Spirit Stone

    Strength: 63

    Agility: 19

    Intelligence: 52

    Available Three-Dimensional Points: 0

    Thief God Points: 0

Thief God System’s Evaluation: Extremely poor basic stats, a penniless weakling who can’t even truss a chicken!"

Listening to the mechanical voice echoing in his ear, although he had long anticipated it, Wang Shitu still trembled, the long anticipated day had finally arrived!

Wang Shitu meticulously listened to the sound of the Thief God System in his ear: Host: Wang Shitu, Strength: 63, Agility: 19, Intelligence: 52, Assets: One Low-Grade Spirit Stone... It was describing him exactly! A poor unfortunate soul, lacking talent and money. That’s right! That’s right! It’s me! Wang Shitu wasn’t sad, instead, he was thrilled.

Ding! Please note that the host can no longer cultivate after the binding of the Thief God System. The voice of the Thief God System sounded again.

What! I can’t cultivate? Wang Shitu was dumbfounded; incapable of cultivation meant he would forever be inferior in this world of fists and strength, forever the weakling.

Ding! Although the host cannot cultivate, the host can become stronger through the following paths: 1. Attack others and steal their stats to strengthen themselves. 2. Use the Three-Dimensional Book to obtain Three-Dimensional Points (Note: Three-Dimensional Points can be used to increase the host’s stats in any of the three categories: strength, agility, and intelligence).

That’s how it works, with each attack I can steal an opponent’s stats and add them to my own, which means that I can become stronger just by fighting! This Thief God System is not for stealing Spirit Stones, it’s for stealing attributes! Wang Shitu suddenly understood. Although he could not cultivate, he could grow stronger as long as he had stats!

That’s right, master! responded the Thief God System.

Thief God System, besides stealing attributes through attacking, I can also use Three-Dimensional Points to enhance attributes, so how can I obtain this Three-Dimensional Book? Wang Shitu actively consulted the System.

The main way to acquire a Three-Dimensional Book is to purchase one from the Thief God Store. It’s also possible to obtain one by completing System quests or through the Thief God System’s Hongyun Lai lucky draws. explained the Thief God System.

Upon the completion of the Thief God System’s response to Wang Shitu’s question, four polyhedron-shaped crystals emerged before Wang Shitu. Each of them had words inscribed on their surface, reading Thief God Store, Hongyun Lai, Thief God Storage Box, and the final crystal was imprinted with a ? shape.

How very user-friendly! remarked Wang Shitu mockingly.

Wang Shitu could independently operate the Thief God Store, Hongyun Lai lucky draws, or the Thief God Storage Box. According to the Thief God System, the polyhedron crystal marked with a ? represented an unactivated function.

After trying it himself, Wang Shitu issued the command to open up the Thief God Store. As soon as that instruction was received, the display before Wang Shitu’s eyes underwent another change. This time Wang Shitu could see three rows of three square items available for sale.

The top row consisted of three golden-yellow books; they were the Three-Dimensional Books. The Low-Level Three-Dimensional Book increased a user’s Three-Dimensional Points by ten points and cost 100 Thief God points, and 99 were in stock; the Mid-Level Three-Dimensional Book increased a user’s Three-Dimensional Points by 100 and cost 1,000 Thief God points, with ten currently available; the High-Level Three-Dimensional Book increased a user’s Three-Dimensional Points by 1,000 and cost 10,000 Thief God points, with five currently in stock.

Please note: The Low-Level Three-Dimensional Book’s inventory increases by one copy once per day, up to a maximum stock of 99. The Mid-Level Three-Dimensional Book’s inventory increases by one copy once every month, up to a maximum stock of 10 copies. The High-Level Three-Dimensional Book’s inventory increases by one copy once every three months, up to a maximum stock of five copies.

Please note: There are three different types of Three-Dimensional Books: low-, mid-, and high-level. While the exchange rates remain unchanged, if the Three-Dimensional Books are not utilized, they will occupy space within the Thief God Storage Box.

Three anthropomorphic wooden training dummies made up the second row, these were Attribute Puppets. The Low-Level Attribute Puppet can mimic the appearance of someone the host has encountered, allowing the host to attack the puppet and randomly acquire attributes (the same principle applies as when attacking a person). Each puppet can endure up to 100 attacks, costing 200 Thief God points; the Mid-Level Attribute Puppet can mimic the appearance of someone the host has encountered, and upon attacking the puppet, the host will acquire random attributes (the same principle applies to attacking a person), enduring up to 1,000 attacks, and costing 2,000 Thief God points; the High-Level Attribute Puppet can mimic the appearance of someone the host has encountered, allowing the host to randomly acquire attributes (the same principle applies as when attacking a person), and can withstand up to 10,000 attacks, costing 20,000 Thief God points. Please note: By utilizing the Attribute Puppets, attackers will become increasingly adept.

Note: Anthropomorphic Attribute Puppets have other functions yet to be discovered by the host, and the host is encouraged to purchase Attribute Puppets promptly.

The third row contained three ? marks, representing unlocks.

After browsing the Thief God Store, Wang Shitu checked his balance and saw that he had 0 Thief God Points. He exclaimed that he couldn’t afford anything.

Host, please keep up the good work. The System will grant Thief God Points based on your performance in stealing attributes. The Thief God System sensed Wang Shitu’s emotions and offered encouragement.

Having received the System’s words of support, Wang Shitu became even more eager to find someone to fight, so that he could steal their Attribute Points.

Suppressing his excitement, Wang Shitu took another look at the Thief God System’s other function crystals. Hongyun Lai was the Thief God System’s lucky draw feature, with each draw costing 1,000 Thief God Points. Users could potentially win Thief God cultivation methods, Thief God Equipment, and Three-Dimensional Points. Of course, this was another feature that Wang Shitu couldn’t afford to use.

After looking over the Hongyun Lai lucky draw crystal, Wang Shitu shifted his attention to the Thief God Storage Box. This box had 99 storage slots, and each slot could hold one item. The Thief God Storage Box did have an expansion feature, which allowed users to upgrade its capacity to 999 slots by spending 10,000 Thief God Points. This was the only function crystal that Wang Shitu could use without spending any money, for now. However, if he wanted to store more items, he would still need to spend money.

Although he had acquired the Thief God System, the lack of Thief God Points troubled Wang Shitu. It was truly the case that money made the world go round; without money, it was difficult to get by.

While Wang Shitu was still engrossed in the Thief God System, a force came from behind him and he was sent flying. He landed heavily on the Spirit Field, swallowing several mouthfuls of dirt.

Jolted back to reality, Wang Shitu turned around and saw that it was the foreman, Li Zhiwei.

Wang Shitu, what’s gotten into you, boy? You were laughing and clapping one moment, and dancing around the next. This is not the place for you to slack off. Hurry up and water the plants. Li Zhiwei commanded, while his two henchmen next to him sneered at Wang Shitu.

Foreman, it doesn’t matter that you’re not strict with him, but look at all of this crushed Spirit Wheat. The boy has to pay for it! The two henchmen next to Li Zhiwei tried to curry favor with him.

Wang Shitu looked at Li Zhiwei. What a narrow road it was; today, he would make Li Zhiwei pay.

Ding, new quest updated. Host is required to steal Li Zhiwei’s Three-Dimensional Points (any one point will suffice), with a reward of the Newbie Gift Pack. Quest duration: half an hour. If the quest fails, the host will lose 10 Three-Dimensional Points. The Thief God System’s voice suddenly sounded.

Um... Thief God System, if I pat Li Zhiwei, does that count as attacking? Wang Shitu asked the Thief God System. Of course, only the Thief God System could hear him, and no one else could.

Yes, it does! replied the Thief God System.

Relieved after receiving the Thief God System’s affirmative answer, Wang Shitu went up to Li Zhiwei and said, Steward Li, it’s my fault for not recognizing your greatness and offending you earlier. I was wrong. As he spoke, Wang Shitu took out a low-grade Spirit Stone from his pocket. Steward Li, you dropped this Spirit Stone earlier. I found it on the path that you walked. I’m returning it to you now. Please forgive me.

Hm, Wang Shitu, not bad, not bad. You’re honest and virtuous. You deserve praise. Li Zhiwei took the Spirit Stone and pretended to be impressed.

Wang Shitu chuckled again and put his arm around Li Zhiwei’s shoulder. Steward, I have a secret to tell you. As he spoke, he patted Li Zhiwei’s shoulder forcefully and motioned for him to lean in.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for stealing 1 Strength point from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for stealing 1 Intelligence point from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for stealing 1 Intelligence point from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Current quest completion progress: Strength: 1/1, Intelligence: 2/1, Agility: 0/1

After patting Li Zhiwei three times, Wang Shitu thought that the quest was complete. But upon hearing the system’s notification, he realized that he had not stolen any Agility!

Li Zhiwei normally had a bad temper, but fortunately, after giving him the low-grade Spirit Stone, he had become much easier to talk to. If this had happened on a normal day, Li Zhiwei would have made Wang Shitu pay dearly for daring to get so close.

Wang Shitu had no choice but to shamelessly pat Li Zhiwei two more times.

Chapter 2: The Big Gift Pack

Wang Shitu’s last two pats almost provoked Li Zhiwei’s temper. Luckily, at that moment, the system announced that these pats had stolen 1 Strength point and 1 Agility point from Li Zhiwei, successfully completing the task. Wang Shitu didn’t dare to push his luck; he was afraid of drawing Li Zhiwei’s attention.

Ding! Congratulations to the master for completing the task. You’ve received a Newbie Gift Pack, which can be checked in the Thief God Storage Box! the system’s notification chimed in.

Wang Shitu suppressed his inner joy. Seeing that Li Zhiwei didn’t look very pleased, he quickly smiled and said, Steward Li, the thing is, our dorm mate, Wang Fulai, has been hiding Spirit Stones without presenting them to Steward Li, which is really too much!

Wang Fulai? That kid has Spirit Stones? Don’t fool me! The consequences won’t be pleasant! Li Zhiwei glared at Wang Shitu.

I wouldn’t dare! I saw it with my own eyes! If Steward Li doesn’t believe me, you can see for yourself! Wang Shitu insisted.

Fine! I’ll let it go this time, considering your honesty and integrity. Wang Fulai has always been honest; it’s impossible for him to hide Spirit Stones. Li Zhiwei said righteously, but sneered inwardly, thinking, Good for you, Wang Fulai, daring to hide Spirit Stones!

Li Zhiwei naturally wouldn’t suspect Wang Shitu of lying, as lying would offer no benefit to Wang Shitu, so there was no reason for him to deceive.

Pretending to be pale, Wang Shitu bowed his head and repeatedly agreed. He noticed Li Zhiwei’s scheme and knew it wouldn’t be long before Li Zhiwei would come knocking. All he had to do was wait patiently.

The conversation between Wang Shitu and Li Zhiwei was clearly heard by Li Zhiwei’s two subordinates, who inwardly cursed Wang Shitu for being despicable enough to betray his dorm mate just to please Li Zhiwei, but they didn’t dare to say anything.

Thus, Wang Shitu saw off Li Zhiwei and his excited group, thinking, Let you be arrogant for a couple of days! A gentleman’s revenge is not too late even after ten years.

After all, Li Zhiwei was not someone easy to provoke. He was at the fifth level of Qi cultivation, just one level away from becoming an outer court disciple. As for Wang Shitu, according to his memory, he was only at the first level of Qi cultivation, merely a lowly servant disciple, nothing but a junior.

Facing Li Zhiwei, Wang Shitu still had to bide his time and lure Li Zhiwei to his place before slowly draining him—that was the real strategy.

Wang Shitu summoned the Thief God System interface and selected the Thief God Storage Box crystal to check his newly acquired Newbie Gift Pack.

Among the 99 item slots, Wang Shitu didn’t even have to search; the first slot contained his Newbie Gift Pack, an item that couldn’t be discarded.

Thief God System, open the gift pack! Wang Shitu commanded.

Ding! Congratulations to the master for acquiring the beginner-level Qilin Arm technique. With the Qilin arm, throwing twenty punches in a second is no problem, causing immense pain to the opponent. (Note: With the master’s current intelligence, it can be used up to 2 times. Using it more than twice may lead to death due to excessive brain use.)

Ding! Congratulations to the master for acquiring a one-time use intermediate-level Qilin Arm experience card. With the Qilin arm, throwing fifty punches in a second, causing immense pain to the opponent. (Consumable, can only be used once.)

Ding! Congratulations to the master for obtaining a Low-Level Three-Dimensional Book!

Ding! Congratulations to the master for obtaining 30 Three-Dimensional Points! (Note: The master can allocate the Three-Dimensional Points to one of the Three-Dimensional Attributes based on their individual circumstances.)

Ding! The master has been rewarded with a Speed Scroll, which makes the user’s steps light and increases their movement speed.

Ding! The master has been rewarded with a pair of Teleportation Arrays.

The series of dings made Wang Shitu clap his hands and cheer! Wang Shitu carefully read the instructions for using the items. The Qilin Arm was simply tailor-made for him. It could attack 20 times per second, which meant he could steal 20 attribute points from his opponent every second! The number of times he could use it each day depended on his intelligence, which meant that the higher his intelligence, the more times he could use the Qilin Arm.

Wang Shitu gave a command to the system, and it directly imprinted the Low-Level Qilin Arm into Wang Shitu’s mind. Wang Shitu could sense that he could summon the Qilin Arm at any time to fight. However, with Wang Shitu’s current intelligence, he could only use the technique at most twice.

Following this train of thought, Wang Shitu gained a new understanding of the Three-Dimensional Attributes. The Three-Dimensional Attributes refer to Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. Strength enhances one’s attack, Agility makes one more nimble, and Intelligence is related to the number of times one can use the Thief God System’s techniques.

Wang Shitu continued to browse the items. The Three-Dimensional Book could increase Three-Dimensional Points, which could then be freely allocated to increase one of the Three-Dimensional Attributes.

Use! Wang Shitu gave the command to use the Low-Level Three-Dimensional Book.

Ding! The master has used the Low-Level Three-Dimensional Book to obtain 10 Three-Dimensional Points. the system’s voice announced.

Open my personal information panel! Wang Shitu instructed.

    Ding!

    "Host: Wang Shitu

    Technique: Low-Level Qilin Arm

    Assets: 0

    Strength: 65

    Agility: 20"

    Intelligence: 54

    Available Three-Dimensional Points: 40

    Thief God Points: 0

Thief God System’s evaluation: A new kid on the block, but still weak and poor."

Ding! The information panel helps the master understand themselves. Please use it wisely! the system’s voice reminded him at this time.

Of course! Wang Shitu looked at his information panel and fixed his gaze on the Available Three-Dimensional Points: 40.

Wang Shitu sensed that by simply sending instructions with his brain, he could allocate the Available Three-Dimensional Points to one of the three attributes.

Wang Shitu thought for a while. His most important task at the moment was to steal attributes, and attacks could steal attributes, with each attack stealing one attribute point. So Wang Shitu made a decision. He allocated 10 Available Three-Dimensional Points to Agility and added the remaining 30 to Intelligence.

As a result, Wang Shitu’s Three-Dimensional Attribute Points also changed. Wang Shitu’s current attributes are as follows:

    "Strength: 65

    Intelligence: 84

    Agility: 30

    Available Three-Dimensional Points: 0"

After adding the Attribute Points, Wang Shitu felt that he had become a little smarter. His mind felt less sluggish, and his steps were noticeably lighter.

Thief God System, may I ask how many times I can use the Low-Level Qilin Arm per day now? Wang Shitu asked politely. Although he was now the master of the system, regardless of whether or not the system had emotions, without the system, he would be nothing, so Wang Shitu did not dare to act presumptuously.

The master’s current Intelligence points are 84. According to the system’s assessment, you can currently use the Low-Level Qilin Arm 3 times per day. The Thief God System’s voice was still mechanical and cold.

Wang Shitu nodded. Intelligence was a good thing! Now, as long as he unleashed the Qilin Arm three times, he could throw 60 punches in 3 seconds, stealing 60 attribute points.

Wang Shitu continued to browse the items. There were still two items that Wang Shitu had not used. After some research, he found that the Speed Scroll could make him move as fast as the wind, making it an excellent tool for pursuing enemies and escaping.

The pair of teleportation arrays, the Mini Teleportation Array and the Main Teleportation Array, can be placed in a location that Wang Shitu has visited through the Thief God System.

Wang Shitu can travel to any Mini Teleportation Array through the Main Teleportation Array and travel directly to the Main Teleportation Array through any Mini Teleportation Array. The relationship between them is that one Main Teleportation Array corresponds to multiple Mini Teleportation Arrays.

This is a good thing! Wang Shitu was excited. Once he had placed the Teleportation Arrays, he would be able to come and go as he pleased!

    ......

    Wang Shitu’s residence.

    .....

This day, Wang Shitu returned to his residence early to wait for Li Zhiwei’s arrival.

Brother Shitu, I heard from Chen Da that you told Li Zhiwei about my Spirit Stone. Is that true? Wang Fulai asked Wang Shitu in the residence.

Chen Da was one of Li Zhiwei’s two followers.

You found out? Wang Shitu looked at Wang Fulai staring at him, calm and composed. Yes, I did, but there was a reason for it!

Wang Shitu wanted to say something more, but who would have thought that Wang Fulai would explode as soon as he heard Wang Shitu’s admission?

Humph! Wang Shitu! I thought I treated you like a brother! This is the Spirit Stone that I worked so hard to save up to buy the Marrow Washing Pill! Wang Fulai was furious, his face pale and grim. Wang Shitu! You’re really a piece of work!

Let me explain... Wang Shitu wanted to say something, but before he could finish, he was interrupted again. This time, it was a knock at the door that interrupted Wang Shitu’s speech.

Wang Shitu thought to himself that Li Zhiwei had arrived, so he went to open the door.

Wang Fulai, who was standing to the side, felt a sense of powerlessness when he heard the knock at the door and saw Wang Shitu’s actions. His face turned even paler in an instant. This was the end! Bullied by the steward and betrayed by my brother. He felt very uncomfortable.

Wang Shitu opened the door, and it was Li Zhiwei who had knocked.

Wang Shitu looked at Li Zhiwei expressionlessly. This guy had really come. knocking on the door was Li Zhiwei.

Wang Shitu looked at Li Zhiwei expressionlessly. This guy had really come.

    Chapter 3: Depleting Li Zhiwei

Just then, the voice of the Thief God System rang in Wang Shitu’s ears. Ding! Thief God System quest update: please steal all of Li Zhiwei’s attributes. Quest duration: 10 minutes. Quest reward: 10 Three-Dimensional Attribute Points, 1 Treasure Map. Failure penalty: 10 points deduction from each attribute.

Perfect timing! Wang Shitu was excited. The system knew he was in need and specifically provided him with some support. The only catch was the 10-minute time limit, which was quite strict. However, Wang Shitu thought to himself that if the Thief God System issued the task, it must be within his capabilities. Plus, he could summon the Qilin Arm three times to deliver 60 punches, finishing the job in one go.

System, how many attributes can I steal from Li Zhiwei? Wang Shitu asked.

Ding! Li Zhiwei is at the fifth level of Qi cultivation, and you can steal up to 200 Three-Dimensional Attributes. When Li Zhiwei’s Three-Dimensional Attributes are reduced to 0, no further attributes can be stolen.

Without wasting any time, Wang Shitu dragged Li Zhiwei into the room, locked the door, and prepared to corner and beat him.

Li Zhiwei was unaware of Wang Shitu’s intentions. At this moment, he treated Wang Shitu like he was invisible, his gaze fixed on Wang Fulai, who looked pale. Having overheard the conversation between Wang Shitu and Wang Fulai, and now seeing Wang Fulai’s expression, Li Zhiwei was even more convinced that Wang Fulai had indeed hidden the Spirit Stone and couldn’t escape from this.

Wang Fu... Just as Li Zhiwei was about to mock Wang Fulai, he suddenly felt a heavy blow to the back of his head, which interrupted his words. It was a strike from Wang Shitu.

Trying to say something about Wang Fulai, huh? Well, take this! Wang Shitu suddenly unleashed a flurry of punches on Li Zhiwei’s head, knocking him senseless.

Li Zhiwei wanted to resist, but found himself unable to do anything as he felt his inner strength draining away and even becoming sluggish. Wang Shitu seemed to get more excited with each punch, leaving Li Zhiwei no choice but to follow his rhythm and unable to fight back.

During this, Wang Shitu also summoned the Qilin Arm, delivering 20 punches and quickly stealing Li Zhiwei’s attributes. Wang Shitu could feel himself getting stronger.

Wang Fulai, standing by, was dumbfounded, hardly able to believe that Wang Shitu, usually a timid servant, was actually beating up their steward, Li Zhiwei.

Is this a dream? Wang Fulai still couldn’t believe it and rubbed his eyes to confirm. Indeed, Wang Shitu was beating Li Zhiwei, and it was a serious beating. If he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed such an absurd thing could happen.

Wang Shitu, however, didn’t care about Wang Fulai’s reaction. At this time, the system’s voice kept ringing in Wang Shitu’s mind.

Ding! Congratulations, master, for stealing 1 point of strength from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Congratulations, master, for stealing 1 point of strength from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Congratulations, master, for stealing 1 point of intelligence from Li Zhiwei.

    ...

Ding! Congratulations, master, for stealing 1 point of intelligence from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Congratulations, master, for stealing a total of 144 points of strength, 37 points of intelligence, and 19 points of agility from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Master has successfully stolen all of Li Zhiwei’s attributes, rewarding 100 Thief God Points.

Ding! Li Zhiwei’s current Three-Dimensional Attributes are 0, and the master can no longer steal attributes from Li Zhiwei.

Ding! Mission accomplished! Time taken: 7 minutes and 38 seconds. The reward has been distributed. Please check your Storage Crystal, master.

When Wang Shitu no longer heard the sound of the Thief God System increasing attributes, he knew that he had completed the task and could no longer steal attributes from Li Zhiwei. Only then did he stop attacking Li Zhiwei.

As soon as Wang Shitu stopped, Li Zhiwei collapsed to the ground. At this moment, his face was swollen and bruised, and his features were all scrunched up. His innocent eyes seemed to question the world, as if he couldn’t believe that he had been beaten to a pulp by a mere servant.

Looking at the paralyzed Li Zhiwei on the ground, Wang Shitu thought to himself that this guy shouldn’t pose a threat anymore. However, to be on the safe side, he still decided to ask the Thief God System. On the other hand, he also wanted to know what would happen to someone after their attributes were stolen.

System! Can Li Zhiwei still harm me now? Wang Shitu summoned the system.

Ding! The Three-Dimensional Attributes consist of strength, intelligence, and agility. When an enemy’s Three-Dimensional Attributes are 0, it means that their attack power, thinking ability, and reaction ability are the same as that of an ordinary person. Li Zhiwei’s attributes have been stolen, so his strength is now the same as that of an ordinary person, and his attack power has been reduced to that of a mortal. The Thief God System replied.

Is his cultivation still there? Wang Shitu asked, voicing his doubts.

Ding! The Thief God System only steals attributes, not cultivation level, so Li Zhiwei is still at the fifth level of Qi cultivation. The Thief God System replied.

I see! After binding to the Thief God System, he could steal the attributes of his opponents when attacking. As the opponent’s attributes decreased, they would gradually weaken, and when all their Attribute Points reached 0, they would become like ordinary people.

For example, in terms of strength, an ordinary person could lift a bucket of water, while a cultivator, even at the first level of Qi cultivation, could easily lift a tank of water. Li Zhiwei, whose Three-Dimensional Attributes were now 0, had his strength reduced to what it was before cultivation, and like an ordinary person, he could only lift a bucket of water.

In terms of intelligence, Li Zhiwei, whose attributes were 0, had also regressed to what he was before cultivation, with the memory of an ordinary person.

As for agility, Li Zhiwei, whose attributes were 0, would now be on par with an ordinary person in a 100-meter race.

However, unlike ordinary people, Li Zhiwei, whose attributes had been stolen, still had his cultivation level at the fifth level of Qi cultivation, which meant that he could still live longer than ordinary people.

Wang Shitu had a new understanding of the Thief God System. This system was indeed powerful. With it, he could grow quickly.

Wang Shitu summoned the Thief God System’s personal information panel to check his own status. Including the attributes he had just stolen from Li Zhiwei and the 10 Three-Dimensional Attribute Points rewarded by the system, Wang Shitu’s current attributes were as follows:

    "Strength: 209

    Intelligence: 121

    Agility: 49

    Available Three-Dimensional Attribute Points: 10

    Thief God Points: 100"

A single Li Zhiwei had greatly increased Wang Shitu’s attributes, and Wang Shitu was determined to find a few more arrogant people to fight with.

Looking at his various attributes, Wang Shitu was both excited and distressed. It was difficult to obtain Three-Dimensional Attribute Points, and he only had 10 Three-Dimensional Attribute Points that he could allocate.

Strength could increase his attack power; intelligence could make his mind sharper, allowing him to cast the Qilin Arm more times; and agility could make his attacks faster.

Wang Shitu thought for a moment and directly allocated all 10 Three-Dimensional Attribute Points to intelligence. Wouldn’t it be great if he could summon the Qilin Arm more times to steal attributes?

Therefore, Wang Shitu’s intelligence was now 131.

Albert Einstein had an IQ of 200. Sooner or later, I will also stand at the pinnacle of intelligence and look down on all living beings! Hahaha... Wang Shitu looked at his attributes and daydreamed endlessly.

After consulting the Thief God System, Wang Shitu learned that his 131 points of intelligence could grant him one additional opportunity to use the low-level Qilin Arm, meaning he could summon the Qilin Arm four times a day. This was why Wang Shitu was thrilled.

However, with these 100 Thief God Points, Wang Shitu really had nowhere to spend them, as everything in the store was too expensive. He decided to save them for future use, when he had accumulated more.

Through this experience, Wang Shitu also understood one way to acquire Thief God Points: by stealing all of an enemy’s attributes, he could earn Thief God Points.

After checking his attributes, Wang Shitu switched the view to the Thief God Storage Box crystal to look at the Treasure Map rewarded by the system for completing the task.

In Wang Shitu’s 99-slot storage box, he quickly found the Treasure Map awarded by the Thief God System. Given that Wang Shitu didn’t have many items, his storage consisted only of Main and Sub Teleportation Arrays, a Speed Scroll, and a one-time use of the mid-level Qilin Fist, which hardly took up any space.

The item description for the Treasure Map read: A treasure spot is hidden within the Windstorm Sect, containing mysterious treasures. Follow the route on the map, and you can find it, but be aware of certain dangers.

Wang Shitu was speechless. This Treasure Map seemed to be sending him on an adventure to seek treasures. The mention of certain dangers at the end made Wang Shitu put off the idea of treasure hunting for now. It would not be too late to go once he had grown stronger!

With the support of the Thief God System, as long as he kept fighting and attacking others, he could continuously steal attributes and become incredibly strong. So, becoming stronger was just a matter of time.

As Wang Shitu was contemplating this, the system’s voice suddenly rang in his ear.

Ding, Thief God System task updated. Please retrieve the mysterious treasure. Task duration: 24 hours. Task rewards: 30 Three-Dimensional Attribute Points, 200 Thief God Points. Failure penalty: All Three-Dimensional Attribute Points will be reset to 0.

Just as Wang Shitu was hesitating, the Thief God System issued a direct task, leaving him no choice but to undertake it. Wang Shitu definitely did not want his attributes reset, reducing him to an ordinary person and having to start all over again.

Ah! You’re too mean, system! Wang Shitu lamented to the Thief God System.

Ding! Please continue to make efforts and keep improving! The Thief God System, sensing Wang Shitu’s emotions, sent encouraging words.

Unexpectedly, the Thief God System also offered encouragement, albeit in a somewhat clichéd manner, reminiscent of the school days when after performing well, a teacher would say: Keep it up, aim higher every day.

Wang Shitu decided to get ready and set out for the treasure hunt overnight.

    ...

    Chapter 4: Treasure Hunt

The treasure hunting task was imminent. If he was the least bit careless and his attributes were reset, he would be thrown back to square one, becoming a genuine handyman, while he still had some matters to deal with at the moment.

Wang Shitu exited the system interface and saw Wang Fulai standing dazed beside him, staring at him with an incredulous expression.

Wang Fulai was genuinely astonished. The usually honest and well-behaved Wang Shitu had seemed to lose his mind and beaten up the steward Li Zhiwei. During the incident, Wang Fulai had seen Wang Shitu strike Li Zhiwei’s face more than twenty times in a frenzy, which had terrified Wang Fulai.

What was even more unbelievable to Wang Fulai was that after Wang Shitu had finished beating up Li Zhiwei, he had paused, standing there in a daze. One moment, he was chuckling foolishly, and the next, he was looking dejected. His drastic change in expression had frightened Wang Fulai.

Wang Shitu’s bizarre behavior had dealt a great blow to Wang Fulai’s worldview.

Now that Wang Shitu’s gaze had returned to normal, Wang Fulai hurriedly asked, Brother Shitu, are you alright?

I’m fine! I’m fine! How about you? Are you okay? Wang Shitu found Wang Fulai’s expression amusing.

I’m fine! It’s good that Brother Shitu is alright, Wang Fulai replied. He then looked at the disfigured Li Zhiwei on the ground. He was not okay.

Brother Shitu, what do we do with him? Wang Fulai asked, pointing at Li Zhiwei, who had collapsed on the ground.

Let him go, Wang Shitu replied.

Since the person in charge, Wang Shitu, had ordered him to leave, Wang Fulai did not say anything more.

Then, Wang Shitu kicked Li Zhiwei with his foot and said, You may leave, but you are not to mention anything about tonight’s events to anyone. Otherwise, I will give you another beating, and it won’t be as light as this one.

Only then did Li Zhiwei regain his senses. He looked at Wang Shitu as if he were a demon. Tonight, Li Zhiwei had experienced something that he could not have imagined even in his worst nightmares. He, Li Zhiwei, had actually been beaten to a pulp by a mere handyman.

Li Zhiwei was overjoyed at being pardoned. He quickly replied, Yes! Yes! He then struggled to his feet and prepared to leave.

What? You want to leave already? You scared my brother Fulai. You need to compensate him for his emotional distress, Wang Shitu sneered. He would not let him leave so easily.

Y-yes... It was my oversight. I will offer compensation, Li Zhiwei wanted to smile, but his split lip was in too much pain.

Li Zhiwei was desperate to leave, so he quickly removed the storage pouch from his waist and handed it to Wang Shitu. Then, he turned and left without looking back.

Watching Li Zhiwei leave, Wang Shitu sighed to himself. Only by becoming stronger could he avoid being bullied.

Wang Shitu opened Li Zhiwei’s storage pouch and looked inside. It was filled with gleaming Spirit Stones. By his rough estimate, there were about twenty of them.

Wang Shitu grabbed three Spirit Stones and handed them to Wang Fulai, saying, Fulai, these three Spirit Stones are for you. You need nine low-grade Spirit Stones to buy a Marrow Cleansing Pill. Now you have enough!

T-this... How can I accept this? Wang Fulai hesitated to accept them. In his eyes, Wang Shitu had risked his life to obtain these.

It’s fine. I told you to take them, so take them. I have more! Wang Shitu was straightforward and did not want to waste time talking.

Only then did Wang Fulai accept the Spirit Stones. His eyes were slightly moist. This was the result of good fortune accumulated in his previous life! Despite his gratitude, Wang Fulai still felt a hint of fear. He was afraid of retaliation.

After a moment of silence, Wang Fulai said, Brother Shitu, we shouldn’t have let Li Zhiwei go just now. He has acquaintances in the outer courtyard. I’m afraid they will come looking for trouble...

Wang Shitu waved his hand, not saying anything more. He needed someone to come looking for trouble so that he could openly steal their attributes and improve his own strength.

Seeing that Wang Shitu did not speak, Wang Fulai wisely kept quiet.

Wang Shitu did not speak because he did not need to explain so much to Wang Fulai. Even if he said that he was not afraid, Wang Fulai might not believe him.

Wang Shitu secretly summoned the Thief God System and stored the Spirit Stones from Li Zhiwei’s storage pouch into the system’s storage crystal.

Ding! Master has stored 21 low-grade Spirit Stones! the Thief God System prompted.

Unbeknownst to Wang Fulai, Wang Shitu had completed this series of actions. Low-grade Spirit Stones were of little use to Wang Shitu, but he had no reason to take excessive care of Wang Fulai, which is why he didn’t give him all the Spirit Stones. This wasn’t selfishness. On the long journey of cultivation, Wang Fulai needed to walk his own path.

I’m going out for a bit and won’t return tonight, Wang Shitu told Wang Fulai.

Okay, Wang Fulai responded. Now, Wang Fulai saw Wang Shitu as ever more mysterious, but he knew he wasn’t in a position to inquire whether Wang Shitu had stumbled upon some extraordinary fortune. All he could do was speak less and focus more on his cultivation.

The night was destined to be long and hard for Wang Fulai.

After sorting everything out, Wang Shitu left to search for the mysterious treasure and complete his mission, as time was running short for him.

Wang Shitu took out the Treasure Map from the system’s storage box. It was an aged yellow parchment.

Looking at the Treasure Map, Wang Shitu quickly located his current position: the servant’s quarters.

The map showed a straight line leading to the destination without any unnecessary detours. Following the line drawn on the Treasure Map, Wang Shitu set off towards his goal.

Soon, Wang Shitu arrived at the location indicated by the Treasure Map. What appeared before him was a vast square teeming with people, where many disciples of the Windstorm Sect had gathered.

This was no ordinary square, but rather the outer courtyard’s arena of the Windstorm Sect. At the center of the square was a square ring.

The audience was scattered on either side of the ring, while challengers were on a red carpet in front of the ring. Behind the ring, on an elevated platform, lay the reward for the final victor of these arena battles. Only the last winner could claim it.

The treasure location was entirely different from what Wang Shitu had imagined. He had thought the Treasure Map would lead to a place rarely trodden by man, filled with various traps and formations, guarded by ancient mythical beasts, and where he would have to fight hard battles to obtain the mysterious treasure.

The bustling crowd did not match Wang Shitu’s expectations of the mysteriousness a treasure location should possess.

Could I have come to the wrong place? Wang Shitu frowned.

Ding! Mysterious treasure: Red Refining Stone detected. Please retrieve the Red Refining Stone to complete the treasure retrieval mission. As Wang Shitu was scrutinizing the Treasure Map, the voice of the Thief God System rang out.

Where? Where is it? Why can’t I see it? Wang Shitu asked the Thief God System.

It wasn’t that Wang Shitu’s vision was poor; he genuinely couldn’t see it.

Ding! The prompt from the Thief God System rang in Wang Shitu’s ears, and then an image flashed in his mind showing a crystalline stone emitting a golden glow. Without a doubt, Wang Shitu knew this was the Red Refining Stone.

Wang Shitu felt he had seen the Red Refining Stone before, it seemed very familiar. Then, looking around, his gaze landed on the platform behind the arena, where there were three stones similar to the Red Refining Stone. However, two of them emitted a dimmer golden light, and the brighter one must be the Red Refining Stone. This was the conclusion Wang Shitu reached after a careful comparison.

But Wang Shitu still wanted to confirm, so he grabbed a random person in the crowd and asked, Brother, do you know what the prize for this arena competition is? Wang Shitu said, pointing to the stones on the platform.

The outer courtyard disciple he grabbed frowned and looked down on Wang Shitu, noticing his servant disciple’s attire, and disdainfully said, Three medium-grade Spirit Stones, with one medium-grade Spirit Stone being equivalent to a hundred low-grade Spirit Stones. Additionally, there are 500 Arena Points, which can be exchanged for items at the sect.

After saying this, the disciple looked at Wang Shitu’s expression, hoping to see a look of longing and desire.

However, to his disappointment, Wang Shitu’s face remained impassive, showing no signs of excitement.

Seeing that Wang Shitu’s expression did not change, the disciple snorted coldly and turned away, dismissing him as just another servant.

So it was, Wang Shitu suddenly realized. The unexpected had happened: among the three medium-grade Spirit Stones, one was the Red Refining Stone.

Therefore, Wang Shitu did not need to go through great lengths to search for the treasure. All he had to do was participate in the arena competition, win, and rightfully claim the treasure. In others’ eyes, he would be taking three medium-grade Spirit Stones, not some treasure.

Competing in the arena sounds good! Wang Shitu thought. He could steal attributes to strengthen himself in real combat, making this task perfectly suited for his growth.

At this moment, two outer courtyard disciples were competing in the arena, and those wanting to participate in the arena competition had to wait on the red carpet in front of the arena, waiting for one of the current competitors to lose and leave before they could step up to compete.

There were already ten rows of contestants standing neatly on the red carpet in front of the arena, and those who wanted to compete had to line up at the end of this long queue.

With the task at hand, Wang Shitu directly joined the end of this queue.

Since all the competitors were outer courtyard disciples, Wang Shitu’s servant attire quickly drew everyone’s attention.

    Chapter 5 Arena Competition

Wang Shitu noticed that his servant attire was attracting everyone’s attention, but he couldn’t do anything about it, so he just ignored it. And so, Wang Shitu stood calmly among the contestants.

During this time, Wang Shitu could hear the outer courtyard disciples gossiping about him, mostly looking down on him, saying that he was overreaching, that these prizes were not for him to covet, and that he thought he was capable enough to compete,
