INTRODUCTION
Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved my daddy’s cooking. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad competing for chef tastings, while my brother and I served as his miniature sous chefs. From our home to locations all over the world, I had the privilege of seeing my dad shine as an award-winning personal and executive chef, serving clients like President George Bush, Dixie Carter, David Gest, Anfernee Hardaway, and a host of other politicians, professional athletes, actors and entertainers.
I absorbed many qualities from him as I grew up — good character, integrity, hard work, and more. Yet, my favorite take away from my father was his love for cooking. In the kitchen, my dad wasn’t just a teacher but a mentor, guiding me through the intricacies of food preparation with patience and precision.
