    Self-Improvement 101 - Piyush Kumar Jain

    Introduction

I must give it to you. Self-improvement is not always easy. It would have been so easy to just say, You know what, I'm okay with being mediocre, at least I'm not tired. I've heard so many people say this before, even though it might not sound hilarious to some.

It's simpler to do nothing and remain unchanged. However, you made the decision to grow as a person, and that is admirable. That being said, it won't be simple. On certain days, all you want to do is spend the entire day in bed. On certain days, the allure of grabbing a few caffeinated beverages over water will be strong.

However, that is typical. Thus, you need to develop a habit that will serve as the cornerstone of your achievement. And I will demonstrate that to you precisely. Little concepts that build upon one another to form a potent force for change.

    The Task of Increasing Productivity

Our generation is prone to become sidetracked easily. Research indicates that goldfish are even more focused than humans. It makes sense why we weren't able to complete the tasks! Here, be sincere with yourself. How much time do you squander each day on Instagram, Netflix, and other social media sites? You waste, at the very least, fifty percent of your time each week, if we are being conservative. This is not meant as criticism.

Most of us squander our time on activities that won't yield any benefits. The situation has gotten so severe that nations such as France are already outlawing email and prohibiting any kind of professional connection outside of regular business hours. This section's objective is very clear: will assist you in avoiding procrastination and maximising your effectiveness and productivity.

Let Go of Yourself and Just Act

This is the one suggestion from the book that I really hope everyone takes up. The most productive people in the world keep this as their one and only secret. The ability to focus is undoubtedly the most important factor, but it's not the applications, the to-do list, or even the ability to concentrate. It's the capacity to put aside your own thoughts and carry out the tasks you know need to be done.

Of course, saying this is easier said than done. However, it's the most crucial action you can do toward living a more fruitful life. Avoid trying to overthink everything you do in order to get out of your own head. It concerns the implementation's speed. Have a notion? Try it right now if it's simple enough and tiny enough to do. Avoid being mired in the minutiae. Just put your idea into practice right now. If you have to fail quickly, at least you now know about one less failed concept. This implies that you won't need to repeat the same error in the future.

Action Guide: 1 - Are there any simple, quick ideas that you have but aren't implementing? Perhaps an article you'd like to write? An activity you'd want to try? or a musical group you'd like to see? It's not always necessary for productivity to relate to work. It's about taking actions that improve you. Go buy that ticket right now and go to that concert if you believe that seeing your favourite band will make you feel amazing and more motivated at work! Choose a simple task you can complete today and get started on
