E. B. Fletcher has had a long career in education and writing. She has taught in Virginia schools for over twenty years, and is now an education specialist in the private sector. Fletcher has been a regular classroom, Title I, and Reading Recovery teacher as well as an educational diagnostician, administrative reading specialist, assistant principal, adjunct professor, and drum major coach. She has had numerous speaking engagements about reading and writing and the anomalies associated with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADD/ADHD. United States (nominated for a literary award through The Library of Virginia, 2000). Fletcher is a member of the Advisory Council of the S.S. United States Conservancy.
