About this ebook

Where is God in this world? He stands at the door of your heart, knocking. He has called you to be with him. The kingdom of God is to be in your heart. You have been chosen; you are a holy chosen vessel. Within your heart is God. Learn how to walk with him rather than against him. Stop being self-centered; learn how to be more Christ-centered. Let Christ be the Lord of your life. Walk every day with him. Learn how to trust him and his plan for your life. Put Christ first and see that he will put you first. Hold on to Christ the way he held on to the cross for you. Walk with the living God. All the evil in this world can be blamed on one thing: someone didn’t allow the spirit of Christ to live through them.

What to Do When You Can't Feel His Spirit

    In memory of John Clark

Where in this world is God? To understand that, you must first understand that God is spirit. God wants us to worship him in spirit and in truth. In the beginning, God, the invisible spirit, said, Let there be light. There can be no life without that light. The light is life. When God said, Let there be light, he spoke into existence his own flesh, the light, the life, the truth, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, the sun and moon, as well as the stars, were created on the fourth day. The flesh of God, Christ Jesus, created all things by his hands (Colossians 1:16). We were created in the image of God, meaning the image of Christ (Colossians 1:15). Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, so we came from God, created in the image of Christ. But why?

Adam was created to be a helper for God. God would bring all the animals to Adam so that Adam could name them. God would walk with Adam in the evenings. In this, I see a friendship, not just servant and master, but friends. When the serpent tricked Adam and Eve into eating the fruit of knowledge, their eyes were opened, and they began to care more about themselves than their friend God, the one who created them. Being self-aware, they now had a choice that they had never had before—to serve God or themselves. This choice is still a problem to this day. Choose today whom you will serve: the devil or Christ. Unfortunately, if we choose ourselves, we choose the devil. Because of selfishness, we were created to be servants of our God. We were created for the habitation, or home, of God, in the spirit. We are indeed holy and chosen vessels, built to serve our Lord and friend Christ Jesus.

The Lord's Prayer is a prime example of what and who we should be: Your will be done on earth as in heaven. With us being holy vessels with the spirit of God leading us, then in a sense, we are in heaven, being with God. With God within us leading us, then we would do his will here upon the face of the earth. However, we fall short; we fail time and time again to follow the leading of our Lord. We allow ourselves, our own selfish desires, and our own public image, to get in the way. Simply put, we refuse to let go and let God be God in our lives.

As spoiled, rebellious kids, we think we
