    Becca hurriedly put a swipe of toothpaste on her toothbrush. She was already late and could only spare a few minutes in the bathroom. She scrubbed her teeth as fast as she could. She still had to take her bath and get dressed.

    She quietly cursed her neighbor next door to make her sleep late. The night before, rock music had blasted from his room, pounding and shaking her walls. She had not been able to concentrate on the journal she had been reading, and sleep eluded her. She knew he had done it purposely to annoy her as usual, and she had refused the urge to pound on his door to plead with him to reduce the volume. Her new neighbor was definitely a dickhead.

    She threw her nightgown on her vanity and went to get into the shower. The bathroom was big enough to accommodate five people at the same time, and the room was spotless except for her nightgown and underwear, which she had carelessly kept on the vanity. She would take care of it later, she thought. Her meeting was crucial.

    Soon, she was out of the bathroom and rushed to her room to begin dressing up. After putting on her well-ironed corporate blue dress, she stood in front of the mirror, opened up her makeup kit, and started applying eyeshadow. She used the mascara to lengthen and intensify her natural eyelashes then started applying powder to cover the spots on her face. She smiled in the mirror a few moments later. She looked good, she thought, and could easily grace any magazine cover.

    Her spots were entirely covered, her mascara, expertly applied, her pink lips shone with the red lipstick she had on and combined
