I would like to first of all thank God for the wisdom, guidance, vision and strength to see this work through. For helping me to draw lessons from my own experiences with men (absent or present) and be able to share those lessons with the rest of the world. He truly held me down in the most awesome ways and I am forever grateful to Him.

I also want to thank my parents for just being awesome, my two mums and dad. Thank you so much for the love and support.

To my siblings who have always been with me, I love you and I am thankful to you guys.

Of course, not forgetting my amazing babies Nokutenda, Natasha, Wandifadza, Anashe and Taropafadzwa. You guys are the reason I do this.

    Introduction

    O

ver the years most talk has been on empowering women, helping them to be emancipated and developing them and several programs have been set in motion to see to it that the mission is accomplished. Men who take responsibility, who understand what real love is, men who understand that women are not objects and can treat them with the respect they deserve. This is a message to you THE MAN. The world has to understand that as much as they are paying close attention to the woman and her rights and welfare, they should not neglect the man too. Someone has to be there to remind the men of the values and principles that make a man ‘the man.’ Someone has to be able to remind men of the traits that make them men that a society and
