      Humphrey,

      and

      this

      is

      my

      story.

      But

      before

      we

      start,

      there

      are

      a

      few

      things

      you

      should

      know

      about

      me.

      First,

      I

      am

      ten

      years

      old,

      twenty-seven

      inches

      long

      (from

      head

      to

      tail),

      4.4

      pounds

      with

      a

      four-foot

      wingspan,

      and

      can

      fly

      up

      to

      fifty

      miles

      per

      hour.

      I

      am

      the

      oldest

      and

      largest

      of

      six

      offspring

      (three

      brothers

      and

      two

      sisters),

      and

      being

      an

      omnivore,

      I

      enjoy

      lots

      of

      different

      foods,
