    PREFACE

My concern is, who is feeding the children of God? As Jesus told Peter, Feed my Lamb; and again he said, Feed my sheep. This study is, who is doing Jesus’ commandment? Jesus said, Do you love me more than these? More than the others around him (the other disciples), as Peter had intimidated that he did. Feed my lambs; the tender and feeble followers of Jesus Christ, the great and good Shepherd. Sheep – more advanced Christians; feed – communicate spiritual instructions and take care of their souls.

Jesus said, I am the door of the sheep-fold; the door of the Church. He is as a door open for passage and communication. By Jesus Christ as the door, we have our first admission into the flock of God. By him as the door, the sheep are at last admitted into the Heavenly Kingdom.

In respect to all pastors who may read this book, it has been written prayerfully and fervently desiring that it will help pastors meet the challenge of the future by ministering in the best tradition of the Apostolic doctrine. This study explains: the call of the Pastor and their duties and their responsibilities. It also explains the hireling Pastor and the character of the thieves
