    My Experience with Dreams

    Let me share a personal experience. When I was in my teens, I had recurring dreams about snakes. They were terrifying. I often woke up drenched in sweat, heart pounding, convinced that a snake had coiled around my neck and body. My parents were understandably concerned. They took me to a homeopath who prescribed some medication, which provided some relief, but the dreams persisted.

    My father, a criminal lawyer by profession and an avid astrologer by passion, reviewed my horoscope (birth chart). He noticed something intriguing. Based on the positions of Rahu and Ketu (the north and south nodes in Vedic astrology), he predicted these snake dreams would continue until I had my first child—and it would be a boy.

    Surprisingly, he was right. The dreams persisted until the birth of my son.

    In the early part of my career, I found myself dreaming of flying. I'd soar higher and higher, feeling as free as a bird. At first, it felt exhilarating, but then I realized it was a response to my immense stress.

    My workplace was toxic, and I felt trapped and tortured. These dreams were my mind's way of seeking an escape.

    The flying dreams stopped once my work environment improved and my stress levels dropped. This change piqued my curiosity about dreams. How could something so intangible have such a profound impact on my waking life?

    I started reading everything I could find about dreams. I talked to professionals, researched extensively, and explored the science and psychology behind these nightly adventures. What I discovered was fascinating.
