Introduction

This little book was written as an homage to my baby Beagle girl, Zum. She lived 13 full and happy years, and has given everyone who knew her a lot of fun & lovely memories. If you decide to adopt a Beagle pup and don’t know where to start: first of all, congratulations! You will not regret this. Secondly, don’t go down a rabbit hole of neverending articles and videos about the pros and cons of raising Beagles, it will cost you time and energy, and you will most likely feel overwhelmed with all the new found information. I will try my best to go through the essentials here, but it would be nice to interact with other Beagle owners and listen to their take on the subject. Please note that most of the information below is based on actual experience and less so on general advice, so your journey as a Beagle owner might differ in places.
