    A Rose

    ROSES WERE RED

    And now they are orange,

I am not sure if that’s a colour

    Or if it’s a fruit,

But I am sure that I am thinking about you,

From the top of my head down to my toes,

I know that the unknown fruit is tomatoes,

Girl don’t be scared, I am no longer the Grinch,

    I’ve actually turned good,

Partially for you, mostly for your fragrance of flowers,

Giving me hope for tomorrow and beyond.

I saw a lonely flower out there and I thought of you,

Keeping company is what best friends do,

    Cherish this flower sweetheart,

Let it be a symbol of natural art,

The same one you see when looking at a mirror,

Beauty and the Beast! Darn that’s definitely us,

It is said that home is where the heart is

So don’t worry for I’ll be there soon,

    Take
