The Journey to Find Me
()
About this ebook
The Journey to Find Me is the story how The Well Known Stranger struggled to grow into the person he has become. It tells the story of how he let one person hold his value. Rather than choosing to value himself, he gave someone that much power over him, and it nearly destroyed him.
His story is different. He got everything he ever wanted, which blinded him to what he needed. So once he got older and did some introspecting after dealing with his first heartbreak, he realized that he had everything backwards. And he didn't learn the proper way to cope with heartbreak, so it led to a handful of broken hearts and notebooks full of the words that he never spoke. His message, although hard to find, is simply that you don't have to go through life alone. Yes, we may be single individuals; that doesn't mean we have to lone wolf everything. It took him almost eight years to accept that.
We all have a story to tell; we're just waiting for someone to listen. And some of us still are.
About the Author
The Well Known Stranger’s hobbies consist of living in the moment, playing soccer, swimming, and listening to lo-fi late at night with one of his many hoodies. His family has always pushed him to be the best version of himself, although they didn't always see eye to eye. They always took care of business, and most certainly each other. He thinks if he wasn't a writer, he would probably be a financial consultant, because he loves helping people grow financially and showing people with a little patience you can go a long way.

The Journey to Find Me - The Well Known Stranger
Welcome
The Friend We Didn’t Know We Had
They say time is a friend that’s always there. Some of us know that and still choose to ignore it. But once their friend chooses to leave they complain and say that it’s unfair! Why are we like this? We take advantage of something so precious and treat it like an old, worthless rag. You know the good ole saying, You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
I genuinely don’t get it, we talk about how we want more time, but never actually want to take care of it for the right reasons. Some of us want to just stay young, while others want it to try and make up for what they’ve already lost. No one truly understands that time isn’t just a thing, but she’s a person. She’s there when you ignore her, take her for granted, mistreat her and waste her. Now once you realize that you’ve lost her, just know you’re not going to get her back.
And It Begins
There are nights I lie awake just hearing constant arguments but no one else seems to hear them. I try to figure out where the voices are and why they are yelling, but it turns out it’s all in my head. This crazy house I call my mind is full of emotions that never reach the surface because I don’t like them. And it’s hard to express them correctly because no one understands when I’m such a simple person, it makes no sense to me how a simple person can seem so complicated. Despite all of that, I manage a way to stay sane and help others when life is trying to put me down. I know I’m not trapped physically or mentally, I’m only trapped through deception. It’s just the thought of it that’s keeping me put…just a thought. The thought that I won’t make it to see another year, my days are slowly being numbered, the old soulless guy is coming back and wants more this time…..thoughts like that are what keep me at bay and allow me to smile because they haven’t happened. I’m still standing and I don’t plan on falling back to an old road anymore.
Risk v. Reward
We all have lines that show the path to our pain. Now, allowing someone to see them is one thing, but letting them walk the path is another. It’s a risk, are you willing to take it? If you are, then go for it, and live it with no second thoughts. Maybe, just maybe, it isn’t the
