Beyond the Stars - Ankit
Chapter-1
Travelling in space is easy, but fighting with Enemy civilization is difficult. But what to do, when it's necessary. To save the earth, we have to do it. Om Dhakad, A space shoulder, completely tired of this. He now wanted to take a vacation.
He was going to his chairman to request leave, and on the way, he bumped into a girl. The girl was in a hurry, so she ran away quickly. Om ignored her and entered the chairman's office.
Seeing him, the chairman said,
What happened, Om? How's your mission going? The President is about to reach the Thar planet, right?
Yes Sir, it's going well. We'll leave from here before he reaches Thar.
Do you remember your job?
Of course, sir. I have to protect the President from a distance.
He shouldn't know; he doesn't like it.
He won't know.
Okay, why did you come here?
Sir, I need a vacation,
he said hesitantly.
Have you lost your mind? Can't you see the President is reaching? You'll have to go to the Thar planet in four or five days.
I'll come back the day after tomorrow, sir.
But why do you need a vacation?
I'm tired of fighting with Ganaksh; I need rest. My mind wants to be free for a day or two.
If you go on leave, should we send someone else on this mission?
No, please don't do that. This is my first time going to the other side of a black hole.
Then stay.
Sir, that's not possible either.
Why?
Because my dad called and asked me to come for a day.
The chairman thought for a moment and then said,
Your new partner, Iccha Kataria, also went on leave for this mission, and now you're going too. How will Prashant handle all the responsibility alone?
He'll manage, sir. He's an expert in preparing for space missions. Besides, I'll be back the day after tomorrow.
Okay, but come back the day after tomorrow. We might urgently need to go to Thar.
Yes, sir.
Om started to leave, opened the door, and then turned back, asking,
Sir, who is this Iccha? You didn't tell me.
Iccha works at 'R Space Agency.' We called her for this mission based on her application. She's a smart girl. She left just before you came; you must have met her outside.
Yes, I did bump into a girl, but I didn't see her.
That was her.
Okay, I'm leaving now, sir. I need to come back soon too.
Go.
After that, Om left and started heading towards his private jet, a gift from the company. As he was walking through a gallery, he heard a voice,
Om...
He turned around and saw his friend Prashant. Seeing him, Om said,
What happened, Prashant?
Om, come quickly, man. You're so late; we need to prepare quickly.
But I'm going to my village.
Oh yes, I forgot you mentioned your dad called and asked you to come. Did the chairman approve?
Yes, now you'll have to do everything.
I'll manage. If I can't, I'll get someone to help. You go, but make sure to come back soon..
I'll come back, brother.
Om climbed two floors of stairs to the roof, where a jet plane looking like a car was parked. He reached it, put his hand in his pocket, and took out a 'remote key.' He pressed a button on it, opened the jet's doors, and got inside.
As soon as he sat on the chair, he started the jet and headed towards his village, Tori Tigra.
