What really changes the world?

Do you know what one thing that really changed the world most of the time?

Well, you might think of technological advancements like the internet, smartphones, and medical breakthroughs, etc...

My answer is simpler than that.

It’s someone's dream.

Then what stops most people from achieving their dream?

I found the answer in 2008, after a long vacation in the most favored nation in the world: Procrastination.

I recognized that a person might not change the world, but a book might do. So, if you were there with me in that old bookstore, you would see me holding a pile of books.

The shopkeeper gave me a big smile, as if to say, Are you opening a library or just building muscles?

Yeah. My dream was to publish a book.

It was such a wonderful dream, because when your book becomes a bestseller, you would not only become famous, but you can also help millions of people around the world, even when you're sleeping!

I believe that every great author starts as a great reader. So, I bought lots of books and put them on a beautiful bookshelf at home. The only problem was... I never read most of them.

Then I learned that the average book has around 30,000 words. Great, 1,000 words per day, and my dream will come true in no time...

I was so excited.

Day one, I wrote 1,000 words.

Day two, 900.

5 years later, I completed... the introduction.
