About this ebook
Once upon a time, there were three friends living in a beautiful village named Coral Bay, along the sea. It had a large bay filled with water that had the shade of Emerald blue, with small white splash of foam at the crest of the waves.
The light of the rising sun on the sea, gave a silvery shade to the line of the far horizon, and there was just enough breeze, to bring a fine mist together with the aroma of the ocean.
The friends were Lucas, Bongani and Rose, they were at the same school and in the same class together, and spent all their time as a group, even during the school holidays.
Lucas was the more adventurous of them as Bongani was shy but always ready for any adventure, and Rose as a girl was always trying to be as courageous as Lucas.
As they sat and just enjoyed the scenery, they were treated to a magical show from mother nature.
The sea was whispering a sweet melody to the beach, with the wavelets and the reef as instruments.
The breeze was adding another dimension to the music, by blowing softly into the tall languorous coconut trees. The sea was turning on its magic, as if to celebrate this paradise island.
She began turning from a moderate character, to a calm and comfortable pillow of water, getting one to a relaxing mood.

The Shark Finlay and Ollie the Dolphin - GAETAL NOEL LEBON
Chapter 1
The sailing trip
THE FRIENDLY SHARK FINLAY
Once upon a time, there were three friends
living in a beautiful village named Coral Bay,
along the sea. It had a large bay filled with
water that had the shade of Emerald blue,
with small white splash of foam at the crest of
the waves.
The light of the rising sun on the sea, gave a
silvery shade to the line of the far horizon, and
there was just enough breeze, to bring a fine
mist together with the aroma of the ocean.
The friends were Lucas, Bongani and Rose,
they were at the same school and in the
same class together, and spent all their time
as a group, even during the school holidays.
Lucas was the more adventurous of them as
Bongani was shy but always ready for any
adventure, and Rose as a girl was always
trying to be as courageous as Lucas.
One school holiday Lucas had the idea of
taking the smal boat of his father to bring his
friends for a ride in the bay.
On their way to the buoy where the little boat
is moored, they passed by the small quay
where the fishermen stop to unload their fishes
in big baskets.
They saw an old fisherman called Gavi and
Lucas asked: Uncle Gavi how was the fishing?
did you catch anything?
Yes said Gavi: By GOD’s grace, we managed
to have a good catch, have a look in those
baskets when they come up from the boats.
The children had a look in the baskets at what
the fishermen caught and were filled with
amazement. The baskets when coming up
were full to the brim, and looked like a
rainbow, with the different colors and size of
fishes that it contained.
Rose was getting tired of walking and asked:
Lucas, why don’t we take a rest under a
coconut tree, and enjoy the scene a little bit
before continuing to the boat?
Lucas after talking to Bongani, decided that it
was a very good idea as they were not in a
hurry anyway, because his parents were away
for the whole weekend.
They put down a mat under a tree, and all
three of them sat enjoying the juice, that Rose
made to bring with during their adventure.
As they sat and just enjoyed the scenery, they
were treated to a magical show from mother
nature.
The sea was whispering a sweet melody to the
beach, with the wavelets and the reef as
instruments.
The breeze was adding another dimension to
the music, by blowing softly into the tall and
languorous coconut trees. The sea was turning
on its magic, as if to celebrate this paradise
island.
She began turning from a moderate
character, to a calm and comfortable pillow
of water, getting one to a relaxing mood.
Her color was bright, transparent, and light
blue like a shining turquoise being penetrated
by a ray of sunshine.
Little soft waves, with beautiful small crown of
white foam, were coming toward the hull as
ambassadors of this paradise island.
