Introduction
Hard rain starts to pour,
My Dark Mind is at war.
Every Dream Killer is at the show, waiting for the darkness to grow.
My Closed Heart is at play, while
Dreaming of you is hard to bear,
Remembering you isn't fair.
Farewell my Friend, this is true
seeing your Heavenly eyes is making me Blue.
Irresistible Lover, your Love Games drains my soul, loving you has taken its toll,
but as of yet My Secret Lover will never be told.
As I slip out of my own mind, Sneaky Pink and Spicy Red is ready to help me to clear my head,
Little Big Red with a smile so bright, clears out the darkness with his shiny light.
Don't Block your Blessings because My 4 Protectors are near, I will never have anything to fear.
Little Man brings me Positive Vibes while my First keeps me alive.
Big Sister is here to make you smile with My Sweet Angel will always be mine.
My gray Clouds are gone,
replaced by love for My King and Queen that lives all above.
Hard Rain
Watching the rain fall, hearing the thunder that shakes the skies.
Everything is dark and cloudy, hiding the sun that wants to break through.
The storm is heavy, wind blowing so hard that it can knock you down to the ground as you beg the wind to let you breathe:
the hardness of life will bury you alive so it seems.
The harder the rain falls, the deeper the ocean can drown you,
with life issues is how you learn to break through never let the storm overpower your thoughts, hope or dreams.
There's always a reason for the wind to blow you down either with depression, heartbreak, misery, or loneliness.
You never give into the storm, never let it control anything in your life.
Take the power from the Storm,
Take the Thunder and Lighting, wield the power and make it your own power and only your Power, turn it into your
Blessing, Love, Peace, Joy, and Happiness.
Beat the Storm that tried to Bury you alive and Rise above it!
Backstory
I wrote this poem because sometimes when it rains, it pours so to speak. Sometimes life can be unbearable to deal with, but when you rise up against the situation, you can change it or at least try to turn things around.
Don't let the world beat you down; show that you can make a difference.
My Dark Mind
The vision in my head plays with me, telling me all the bad things that's in my head are true. Why don't people notice me? because you're not important, you're not one of them, you're not Beautiful, you're ugly and fat, you're not worthy of love . Why do I feel this way? Because you're not a good person, you're useless to the world. Why is everyone against me? There's nothing you can offer to the world, no one wants you around. These are my thoughts that lingers in my mind – My dark secret that I keep to myself. This dark cloud is heavy, and it is suffocating my mind that I can't breathe and see no light – the voices are strong and it's draining all my energy that I have.
The voices in my head tells me that I'm not good enough to be in this world, I'm useless, worthless, undesirable, no one will ever love me, and I will be alone for the rest of life.
These are the thoughts that clouds my mind saying that I will never be nothing but a bother to the people
