      His Presence

      God's presence is with me, wherever I go

      On top of the mountain, or in the valley below.

      In the mornings when I wake, I feel His presence over me

      As I speak to my master when I kneel on bended knee.

      Throughout the day he's beside me, holding my hand

      As I journey along, toward the promised land.

      Even though I cannot see him, I know that he is real

      He lives within my heart, and his Spirit I can feel.

      His presence goes before me, as I travel on life's way

      Leading and guiding, as by his side I stay.

      God's presence is my anchor, in this life of constant storm

      Though the seas of doubt and fear do rage, from his presence, I am not torn!

      When I go to bed at night, and another day of work is done

      His presence is there to guard and protect, just as a father would his son.

      A Priceless Gift
