About this ebook

Tweetiamedia Entertainment combines real-life experiences, humor, health and wellness tips, as well as joyful Bible verses to uplift and inspire. God Is Greater than a Pandemic: Book One of the Tweetiamedia Series was written to encourage and inspire, provide practical information, as well as share the voices of various doctors and scientists who have shared their own beliefs and data from the beginning of the pandemic of 2020 to the present day.

Get wisdom, get understanding;

do not forget my words or turn away from them.

Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;

love her, and she will watch over you.

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.

Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

Cherish her, and she will exalt you;

embrace her, and she will honor you.

She will give you a garland to grace your head

and present you with a glorious crown.

--Proverbs 4:5-9

    To my angel, Mom, Linnette D. Barnett, she practiced what she preached with a heart of joy.

    Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth; Burst into jubilant song with music.

    Thank you to God and all the divine connections and angels that guided me throughout my life and protected me daily on my journey, my children, and all my students who have taught me more than I could ever teach them.

    Thank you, God from whom all blessings flow, to my parents, Aunt Ivy, Aunt Pearl A. Clarke, Aunt Enid, Pastor Barnaby, Cousin Jeff, Cuzzo Gennia Sullivan, Aunt Claudette Hunt, R. Merle, Palmer Minority Scholarship Foundation, Greater Christ Temple Church, Elder Prentis Johnson, Elder Larry Dugger, Spirit of Faith Christian Center, God's Glamorous Girls, Pastor Barbara, The Ruth Project, Pastor Gwen, the morning prayer team, Columbia Academy, Fellowship Baptist Church, and last but not least, my mom, who talked the talk and also walked the walk of daily living by faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    Introduction

    Through it all, I learned to trust in Jesus and depend on God and live by faith. When I think about how many times I almost didn't make it, I realize that my whole life is a miracle—signs and wonders! Tact is the art of making a point without making an enemy (Isaac Newton). I pray that my story will encourage you that God did not bring you this far just to bring you this far, and there is a reason why you are reading this book. May your latter days be greater than your former days in Jesus's name, amen.

    Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

    Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.

    —Psalm 95:1–2

    I'd like to take a brief moment to introduce myself and share a few snippets of my life story and how my love for God, science, and education compelled me to write this book at this point in time. Let's start at the beginning.

    My life story is unique because I am a first-generation American patriot who loves God first and family—including my church family worldwide and also my country. I love humanity and the diversity of our gifts, talents, careers, and callings. As a believer, I love how many parts work together in harmony as one body of Christ. God has graced us each with everything that pertains to life and godliness.

    My parents, Guy Wesley Barnett, born in Kingston, Jamaica, and Linnette DeCosta Barnett, born in Montego Bay (MoBay), Jamaica, were born and raised on this beautiful Caribbean island of One Love, surrounded by the clear blue seas. They met as young adults during a revival church service.

    I was conceived in Jamaica but born in America, and I was two years old when I attended my parents' wedding in Jamaica. My mom worked three jobs as a cleaning lady in New York until she landed her longtime career as the YMCA front desk receptionist at the Mt. Vernon Center. She then sent my father, who immediately joined the US Army to support his family and serve this great country that he could finally call his own.

    As an only child, my parents doted
