Knight of Decay - Karol Lynne
Your emotions are not fictional. They are real.
KNIGHT OF DECAY
KNIGHT OF DECAY
I breathe fire like a dragon,
Turning the ones I love into ashes.
I hold my sword to the world,
Slaying the ones that bashed me.
I built my own castle,
I made my mark.
My kingdom come,
It’s time for war.
INFINITE GROWTH
I went through the fire,
I went past the darkness.
My life became a wonderland,
Where the sky is never gray.
But nothing good lasts forever.
I fell back into the void,
I cried to the stars,
I didn’t feel the joy.
It’s all a part of my journey,
A fraction of my infinite growth.
Test me all you want,
But you won’t kill my worth.
JUST NOT RIGHT
Never right for my dad,
He always finds a flaw.
Never good for my friends,
They always make me the bad guy.
Never right for myself,
I always find a reason to cry.
I am just not right
For this mortal life.
I am not made
To be thrown around.
A POISONOUS COCKTAIL
Oh, to drink a poisonous cocktail,
To end this misery inside of me,
To stop the madness in my brain,
To silence the voices that hurt.
Oh, to drink a poisonous cocktail,
To leave the earth, reach the sky,
To dissolve the painful memories,
To say goodbye to my enemies.
THE URGE
I feel it again,
The feeling in my bones,
Making me take a blade
And let out some blood.
There’s a voice whispering
To take my own life,
To fix my conflict
By ending it all.
It’s so sad, I know
But what can I do?
I’m just a broken soul.
MARGARET
She used to be my light,
The one that made me smile.
Margaret made me love life,
And see what’s right.
But over time her love faded,
Margaret became a distant friend.
She started treating me like shit,
Using me as a guide on her way.
Margaret used to bring me joy,
But now that I know her,
She only brings me sorrow.
I wish I’d never met Margaret.
