1 Floating Egg in Salt Water
––––––––
To perform the experiment you need an egg, salt, glass and a water.
––––––––
1.1 Step by step
Pour a water in the glass (half of glass)
Put some salt in the water (5 spoons)
Pour more water in the glass (almost full glass)
Put the egg in the water
1.2 Explanation
Because the salt water is denser than the normal water the egg floats in it. When you put the egg in the water it sinks through the normal water but stops when it reaches the salted water. If you didn’t mix the ordinary water and the salt water the egg will float in the middle of the glass.
2 Spoon Reflection
––––––––
To perform the experiment you need a spoon.
––––––––
2.1 Step by step
Pick up the spoon
Look at your reflection on the inside of the spoon
Look at your reflection on the back of the spoon
2.2 Explanation
When you look at your reflection on the inside of the spoon you see yourself larger, because the inside of the spoon is concave. When you look at your reflection on the back of the spoon you see yourself like you are farther away. That is because the back of the spoon is convex.
3 Energy Transfer through Balls
––––––––
To perform the experiment you need a big ball (basketball) and a small ball (tennis ball).
––––––––
3.1 Step by step
Put the tennis ball on the top of the basketball
Hold one hand on the top of the tennis ball and one hand under the
