First and foremost , always try to appear quite dumb to people. It’s never good to immediately try to show one’s complexities and knowledge to people right away, nor soon after. This I’ve become. People call me dumb all the time. Then they always add: There is something very strange about Merry.

like my name. He laughed and said: It’s not like you to want to follow such a rule.
It was not until recently that I began to drive excessively. Gordon, my friend from the West Indies, accompanies me every once in a while. I’ve driven through almost half of this large complex continent I call home only to arrive in dust swirling ramps of unknown territory to be encountered by snakes. Gordon had jumped at the sight as they were writhing all slimy and tinted green on the windshield. It happened two months ago in New Mexico. They were water snakes but frightening all the same. As of now, my car has positioned itself among ashy black pools of oil in the yard of the large white abandoned mansion across
