Derek is the person behind MarathonInvestigation.com. It started as whim as a personal blog, but after a Viral article and a Runner's World profile, it grew into something more. Scott was one of Marathon Investigation's earliest critics. While Scott dislikes cheating, he dislikes the idea of shaming even more.  Derek approached Scott with the idea of co-hosting, and surprisingly Scott agreed.
