Description
I don’t know why we do this. Because really, it makes no sense at all when you really think about it. Of course, our friends are the ones we go to when we need to talk. We pour our hearts out to them about the bumps in our relationships, the drama at work, and our problems at home. That’s what friends are for. But just as there is a time and place for everything, there are also the right people (and the wrong people) to seek counsel and advice from. Think about it, how many times have you found yourself taking relationship advice from someone who has never been able to make their own relationships work? How many times have you run your new business idea by a friend who’s never started a business in their whole entire life? Chances are, they gave you every reason why you shouldn’t take the leap or couldn’t do it. I think we’re all guilty of this one. But wouldn’t it be so much better to seek counsel about our intimate relationships from that friend, co-worker, or family member whose relationship totally rocks? Or how about inviting an entrepreneur you admire out to lunch to talk about your business idea? As Bob Proctor says on today’s episode of, “If you want to win, go to somebody that’s already done what you want to do.” Makes sense, Bob! This one is GOLD. Enjoy.:)
