Description
Sarah interviews author and life coach Karen L. Kristjanson about her book Co-Parenting form the Inside Out: Voices of Moms and Dads. Karen and her ex-husband made the decision 25 years ago to co-parent their 2 young sons after their divorce. At that time there wasn't much information on the process, how to go about it, what to avoid, etc. Karen eventually realized that the book she wanted to read wasn't out there and decided to write it herself. She interviewed 14 dads and 38 moms about their processes of co-parenting. The parents talk about what they learned, what they wish they had known going into the process, what worked, and what didn't. This book is an excellent guide to an important topic that can affect numerous lives during a difficult time.
