Description
Aya Eintracht writes for her own blog, called PettingTruck. Her posts focus on her family of cats and dogs. She tends to prefer white long-haired cats and black Newfoundland dogs, which you can witness in the many photos she shares. Aya Eintracht grew up in Chernovitz, part of the former Soviet Union Russia, now better known as Ukraine. Aya and her family currently live in the United States. Today, she gives a reading and additional background information on two animal rescue stories. First, Mino the Cat, whom she rescued in Chernovitz, Ukraine from the apartment of a musician who had committed suicide. Second, Oreo the Dog, whom she rescued in the United States. Oreo had a behavior problem that could have been disastrous for Aya and her human family. PettingTruck's website Newfoundland dogs, named after the Canadian province, are some of the largest dogs one can find, often 120 pounds (54 kilograms) or more in weight. They are a working breed and are often found on fishing boats for their swimming and rescue capabilities. They are also known as gentle protectors. Sometimes referred to affectionately as a Newf or a Newfy.
