When Jono Shales decided to start life over again, he had no idea he would land in one of the world’s most impressive saltwater fisheries.  Now, as a guide in Exmouth, Jono spends his days figuring out the patterns of permit, queenfish, milkfish, billfish and countless other species off Australia’s west-coast.  I met with Jono for an expected visit at his home, and was thrilled to have an opportunity to pick his brain and learn more about him and his findings.
