The Mountaineer football team is preparing to embark on one of its most challenging months in recent memory. WVU will play four games in October against teams that currently sport a combined 14-2 record. The first challenge takes place Saturday against 3-1 Texas. Many of the key performers in last season's dramatic 42-41 WVU win have departed. However, Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger returns. Ehlinger, a Heisman Trophy candidate, has thrown 15 touchdowns with just one interception. He's currently fifth nationally in total offense.
