He returned to school to pursue his passion for automotive restoration and preservation. While in his second year of school he is the Vice President for CARS Club, facilitating fellow students' involvement in a variety of activities involving cars and fundraising. Francis is focusing on craftsmanship skills in sheet metal restoration, trim, upholstery, electrical systems, and woodworking. A few of his projects include a Jaguar D-Type Race Car, a 1953 Mercedes Benz 300S Cabriolet and a 1951 Mercury Coupe.
