Sarah Flynn is the General Manager of Thirty Five Ventures which was co-founded by all-star basketball veteran Kevin Durant, and his manager Rich Kleiman. Thirty Five Ventures serves as the umbrella for all of their business interests across sports, tech, culture and more.Before joining Thirty Five Ventures, Sarah worked within the creative arts –including stints at various record labels and publishing (magazines and books). This led to a very interesting job at Jay-Z’s Roc Nation where she helped create and grow their Sports Marketing Department.In this interview, Sarah discusses the nature of disruption with this kind of marketplace. She also talks about what it is like to work with such high profile people and what she has learned from them.
