Description
Thursday, March 12, 2020. A day that will live in college sports infamy due to the necessary/unprecedented action of canceling not only the Divions I men’s basketball tournament, but all NCAA-sanctioned events for the remainder of the academic year. Sports as we know it are on hiatus for at least a month. It is an odd time. There is so much to discuss. And suddenly this is the season-ending episode of the Eye on pod. Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander spend the first 80% of this episode discussing the dozens of takeaways from what’s happened in college basketball in the past 48 hours, but also giving shoutout after shoutout to so many of the great stories, players and angles to this season — and how they were all vaporized on Thursday. The final part of the podcast we will keep a surprise. For those who wish there were games, still brackets to fill out, still March to get mad over, we think you’ll enjoy a little fun and alternate-universe exploring.
