Description

With the Bundesliga playing its first round of matches in ten weeks, and the Premier League refining the details of ‘Project Restart’, we discuss the significant differences from normality on today’s episode of Jules & Andy. Cologne-based journalist Archie Rhind-Tutt joins us to reveal what it was like to report from Eintracht Frankfurt, as press access was restricted and social distancing rules were firmly applied. We then turn our attentions to the Premier League, as clubs unanimously decided to allow individual training to resume this week. We discuss the effect this will have on the players and wonder how much lead time they will really need before full matches can be played, which look to be a possibility at some point in June. We'd love to here from you in these unprecedented, chaotic times - email us: julesandandy@footballrambledaily.com or tweet us @JulesBreach @AndyBrassell @FootballRamble***Please take the time to rate and review us on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your pods. In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.
