Just ask Saundra Pelletier. As the CEO of the  biopharmaceutical company Evofem, she’s making major moves in a multi-billion dollar market that hasn’t been disrupted in nearly 30 years: the contraceptive  industry. Despite the fact that the global contraceptive market size was valued at  $22 billion in 2019 and is projected to reach over $30 billion by 2027, there has  been little innovation in the space since the 90s. But Saundra is working to change  that at Evofem. The company’s latest product Phexxi, a prescription contraceptive  gel, is a hormone-free option that allows women to be in control of their sexual  and reproductive health. But Saundra’s not just at the forefront of disrupting the  contraceptive industry on the pharmaceutical side. She’s also advocating for  change in the space via the nonprofit sector as the co-founder of WomanCare Global, a nonprofit provider of health care products to women around the world.  In this episode of WorkParty, we sit down with Saundra to talk about her  impressive career, her commitment to giving women access to more choices, and  her role as a mentor for a new generation of women coming up behind her.   Visit PHEXXI.com for full information on use and risks   Join the party on social @workparty and stay in-the-know at workparty.com Guest  Saundra Pelletier @saundrapelletierofficial @evofembiosciences @phexxi Produced by Dear Media

Part work, Part party. WorkParty is a movement for a new generation of women like yourself, women who are redefining the meaning of work on their own terms. Welcome to WorkParty the podcast. Where creative and entrepreneurial women celebrate each other’s successes. WorkParty is the vision of Jaclyn Johnson, the powerhouse founder and CEO behind Create & Cultivate, the fastest growing online platform and conference for millennial women in business. In WorkParty the book, Jaclyn spills on how she found the determination to flip her rock bottom moment into hard work and success —and how you can, too. By age 32 she had sold a company, launched a new one, bought her first home, found the love of her life and had a million ups and downs in between. WorkParty the podcast is all the lessons she learned and the advice she wishes she had gotten along the way. You’ll hear from female founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, creatives and so many other badass boss ladies. And what do you get from listening?
