Earlier today, the 27th of February 2019 defence minister Christoper Pyne revealed the existence of the first high performing military aircraft to be designed and developed in Australia in more than 6 decades. The ATS or the Air Power Teaming System is designed and developed by the Boeing Phantom Works Australian team. It is a fighter sized autonomous and unmanned system designed to operate with manned systems as a loyal wingman. Also announced today was the largest ever drone order in history for STEM related drones. We sat down with Jack Cullen from JAR Aerospace to discuss what it means for his business and the future development of the Australian Air Force Cadets.
