Description
Kristin Brey is a writer, producer, comedian, and a not so secret Wisconsin Cheesehead. Originally from Madison Wisconsin, where cheese is both delicious and affordable, she now hangs in Brooklyn, NY, where cheese is priced similarly to gold. Her non-linear background includes pursuing acting as a teenager in Hollywood, researching Women’s Public Health and Feminist Policy at UC Berkeley and managing a sales team in Silicon Valley. She now combines her experiences in entertainment, politics, and business to create content that makes people laugh while also making them think. Her main focus is promoting progressive politics and social consciousness through digital shorts. We discuss her process into comedy and how certain events led to her activism.Resources Mentioned In The EpisodeWebsite: https://kristinbrey.com/Catch New Episodes of Below The Fold: www.belowthefold.coYouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaw9hjBD73AU6aTfhZNwcMw
