Description

Richard Sullivan is a partner with State Federal Strategies - a firm with a unique ability to assist clients through partnerships with the federal and state governments as well as other entities.  Richard has over 30 years of policy, legislative, and political experience, and has represented some of the nation’s leading corporations and national associations before federal and state government entities.  His past employment positions include counsel to the Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives. He also served as national finance director for the Democratic National Committee for President Clinton’s re-election campaign in 1996 and as national fundraising director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). He is the only known Democratic activist to lead national record-breaking fundraising efforts at all four major Democratic Party Committees (DNC, DSCC, DCCC and DGA). Richard received a B.A. with honors from the University of South Carolina in government affairs and economics and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
