Description
In today's episode Jessi debunks these 5 intuitive eating myths below: Myth: Intuitive eating means eating whatever you want, whenever you want. If I tell myself that junk food is ok and no food is “bad”, I will never stop eating. Myth: Intuitive eating means my nutrition will turn into a junk food free for all that doesn’t honor the fact that I like eating healthy and taking care of my body. Essentially I can’t be a health conscious person and practice intuitive eating. Myth: If I don’t control food, it will control me. Myth: I need to lose weight to feel confident because I am either overweight, unhappy with my weight, or have been told I am at risk for health issues because of my weight. Myth: Exercise has to be hard, challenging and unenjoyable.. Used as a punishment to be effective rather than joyful movement. If you have been wanting to move towards a more intuitive approach to food but are nervous about leaving behind some food patterns, this episode is for you!
