The Consumer Price Index rose 4.2% in the past year, the biggest growth in 12 1/2 years. Prices from computer chips & cars to groceries, gas and lumber continue to rise, and a recent study indicates that many Americans are concerned about the rise in household expenses. On today's show I'll do my best to put these numbers into perspective.
