In 2018, Tara tried to find a weighted blanket her six-month-old son could safely wear to help extend his 1.5-hour sleep windows. Shocked there was nothing available for this age group, she decided to create her own and the idea for Dreamland Baby was born. From that night, she launched a successful Kickstarter, an e-commerce store, made a deal with Lori Greiner on Shark Tank, and can now be found in Bloomingdales, Target, and Nordstrom, among many other retail stores.
