On October 22, 2013, Dean Morrison was let go from his painting job at a ranch southeast of Kamloops, British Columbia. His truck wasn’t working properly and Dean seemed out of sorts. Dean's boss offered to call a tow truck for him that morning and asked him to find a ride home. Sometime between the time the tow truck was called and its arrival several hours later, Dean disappeared.
