Let me encourage you to start whatever that thing is you've been delaying. Whether it's a physical act or just adjusting your inner dialogue, let today be the day you look back, after the desires of your heart are met and you're thriving, and say "THAT was my day one. I am so grateful I chose that day."  And try not to compare your day 1 to someone's day 1000. EVERYONE has a day one!
