In this podcast, Dr. Kelly Tappenden interviews Dr. Liam McKeever, ASPEN Clinical Guideline Director and Editor-in-Chief, discussing the new publication “Guidelines for the Provision of Nutritional Support Therapy in the Adult Critical Care Patient”. Dr. McKeever describes the background and methodology of the guideline and elaborates on the clinical recommendations for the 5 questions related to providing nutrition support in the adult critical care patients addressed in this guideline. Plans for a sister paper that will address questions not addressed in this updated guideline is also discussed.
